it's only against Islamic law for a woman to marry a non-Muslim, however the man may marry a non-Muslim. but by Islamic law, his children must be Muslim. however, neither me nor my siblings believed in the religion and have all chosen Christianity, and he is still my father and loves us regardless.

have you ever thought that maybe they are being persecuted? you have no idea the kind of racism Muslims face because of a small group of extremists in the religion, as proof in this topic. I myself have faced lots of racism for being middle eastern, even though I am Christian, just because of people's ignorance.

Now, I have no doubt some/most of those people were racist to begin with, as where the arabsa, and that innocent people got hurt... but it happened for a reason.

My street has 7 houses, 2 of them have Muslims families--and we have absolutly no problem with them because they are nice people. But down there road there's this family and they're all **** heads. They only get perscuted because they run around trying to be gangstas all the time--and they only do that because they thing they're being persucuted. It;s a stupid loop problem, but then--again, you turn to other arabs/Muslims... and nothing. No-one bothers them... why? Because they aren't being **** heads.

And I do have an idea of the racism they face. I FACE IT IN MY OWN COUNTRY. (Sure, Australia is Multicultural but being Aussie makes me feel like a minority in Sydney) so trust me, I know what it's like to be "the odd one out." I'm 19 and I've only had like... 3 Aussie friends in my life, and about 5/6 white friends over all. the rest have been arabs or asians or whatever else.

They had a thing on CNN a while back about islamic extremism in the UK. They were all saying about how Sharia law will come the UK and the rest of Europe because the Mahajadeen will see to it. But when they asked the younger muslims (some were related to these extremists) they said no, having sharia law in the UK would be stupid. Thenk god the younger generation muslims have their heads screwed on right.

I don't make assumptions that every christian is like Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell because they are all not like them. The same is true for muslims. Not all are Islamic extremists.

The KKK is not religious, there have been seven abortion bombings in the past 30 years in America and Canada combined, the Oklahoma city bombing was not religious, and the IRA has no Christian element to it.
