I can understand they see it as getting the equal rights they deserve, but they should see it that not everyone believes that marriage should be changed.
And lol I'm not "actively opposing" anything, what a stupid claim on your part. I don't speak against gay people or gay marriage, I just say "to each his own", but simply choosing to not support something on a ballot I don't believe in is fine and not bigoted at all.
What I meant with "actively opposing" in your case is voting against it.
