[QUOTE="AgileNate"][QUOTE="bman784"][QUOTE="AgileNate"][QUOTE="Rikusaki"][QUOTE="bman784"]RiSkyBiZ-13, the KKK and Hitler (Godwin's Law) analogies show that you're not really interested in maintaining a reasonable dialogue. Wright's comments are not THAT bad, at least no where near engendering comparisons of that magnitude. As I said, the arguments against Obama on this issue have really become quite hyperbolic.bman784
Yeah, people are overreacting.
And no one over-reacted to other cases such as the Don Imus one?
How is that relevant? He said people are over-reacting. I brought up a similiar case in which was over-reacted and didnt end up so pleasant. Meaning, of course this Obama thing is going to be looked at seriously, the dude is running for president!!!
Maybe two months ago, but the Wright thing has kind of gone away at this point. It's pointless to dwell on it if you're in opposition to Obama. There are plenty of better things you could oppose.Being a white male, and proud of my country (despite it's political flaws), this is a very big thing to oppose. I'm sorry if I won't so easily wipe that slate clean. I'm not a big fan of anyone who tolerates or supports anti-white anti-American propoganda. Like I said in the original post, I don't expect to change anyone's mind. Obama supporters have been so brainwashed by the media and his own charisma that they choose to ignore things like this, I only enjoy the excuses that are thrown all over this thread.
