You gotta have some love for Crepitation. :PImmortalicaPornogrind is another genre I seriously can't stand. The lyrics and songs are just too...funny.
I'm downloading All Reflections Drained as we speak, is it any good? And yes, atmosphere is SO important. Do you listen to any Wolves In The Throne Room? OH AND JUST TO MAKE ALL THE EXTREME METAL HEADS JEALOUS HERE: Guess who's seeing Behemoth July 30th? :DI don't have their newest album actually. I have Subliminal Genocide and Defective Epitaph and I've heard a lot of their earlier works, but I haven't been able to find a copy of their newest album (although I could just order it in stores or online). Apparently it's a decent album, and it's slightly less dark than his others. I am also incredibly jealous of you going to the Behemoth concert. :x-Sniper99-
Same here:P There was a Bloody Roots history lesson on Slam Death on sirius liquid metal a little while back...I was literally laughing out loud through it, even to my DM trained ear, almost ever bands sounded exactly the same:lol: Darth-CaedusThey do all sound the same! You know the music is ridiculous when you have trouble picking a band out of it's peers based on their sound. Maybe they're all actually just one band, in many different places on the planet, playing music simultaneously for several different record labels. :P
That's what happens when there's tons of metalheads here :|Why am I not suprised this thread has reached 400+ posts? And where's nimatoad2000?

All Reflection's Drained is probably one of Xasthur's weakest albums. I love all of the albums, but especially the early works. If you want those albums, I can help you out if you'd like.
