"Muslims Against Crusades" to disrupt Royal Wedding.

So the Islamic extremist group behind the poppy burning on Armistice Day have decided to hold a demonstration against the royal wedding. I find this rather bizarre as I'm not totally sure what they want to achieve with this? The poppy burning successfully offended plenty of people and the perpetrators were fined a mere £50...

It's difficult to take this seriously really as it's only a small sect. I don't have a huge problem with Islam, I believe extremists are rife everywhere in every religion and every walk of life, and I'm also a great believer in equality, but this is really going too far. Both the poppy burning and the 'potential disruption' I find really troubling.

We probably shouldn't be giving these guys coverage, but i thought it was an interesting topic.

They do get treated equally. I dont see a law that says other wise. And speaking of equal, almost all the Islamic governments don't treat people equally. Namely women.

This is not a valid arguement. While holding public, peaceful protests is a constitutional right, it is only permissable if it does not cause harm to anyone else. Especially in the case of the Westboro baptist church's protesting at funerals, and to a lesser extent here, it is definitely causing harm to some one else. That court ruling a few months back that the WBC could not face criminal penalties was complete bull. If the victims can't get compenstation, then they should at least be able to beat the **** out of the Wesboro church members if they show up.
