[QUOTE="taj7575"][QUOTE="Orlando_Magic"][QUOTE="wii60own"][QUOTE="Orlando_Magic"][QUOTE="wii60own"]rap today hmmmm.....
this past couple of months and months to come there is some good rap, but all the good rappers are the ones that were rapping back in the 90's, like Nas, Jay-z, The Game, Dmx, Dr Dre, Eminem (hopefully album is like his older ones), Ice cube. these are the rappers that are keeping rap "old school" which is the best thing to do for rap music. All the rappers "now a days" just rap about sex drugs and guns, but rapping about them can be a good thing if used in the right way, like eminem he makes it funny. ( Old skol Rap FTW ) we need more people like them, n.w.a, public enemy, sugar hill gang, grandmaster flesh, non of this chart rap :(
Also when you said about rap being good, you could of mentioned good rappers :)

If you think all the best rappers out nowadays are old ones, you are either not listening to the rap that is coming out nowadays, or you are just stuck living in the 90's....
Blu & Exile- "Dancing in the Rain"
Blu & Exile- "My World Is"
Blu & Exile- "Narrow Path"
I do listen to now days rap but i dont think its any where near as good as old rap, where the meanings of the songs where actualy good and not just "i ****ed ya *****" over and over
Like I said, if you think the songs coming out nowadays are all "I ****ed ya *****" then you obviously aren't paying attention to the music coming out nowadays :|
theyre not looking hard enough, thats the problem.
as you and a lot of others know, its all about looking around, and you'll always find great hip-hop.
Same with rock and metal.
you gotta chill out dude. do you think we're here making fun of rock and metal? its just the tc...
