I hope mainstream gangster rap dies a horrible, horrible death. I love some underground stuff though.

[QUOTE="V4LENT1NE"]I am sick of hearing about bustin caps, hoes, bling and slappin it in da club.SupraGT

Ugh, another person that knows nothing making baseless claims. Read both of my posts in this thread, I'm sick of people like you saying that all rap is about stuff liek that, when it isn't. DOn't try to insult something you CLEARLY know nothing about.

What the hell are you talking about? V4LENT1NE simply stated he's tired of hearing negative crap such as 'bling and bustin' caps.

And that kind of crap is what represents most of what is Rap music today, there is no denying it.

No. It is reprisentative of what YOU hear on the radio; the commercial crap. This is what gets the most publicity. Tupac was being attacked, but when you listen to most of his songs, they actually had better messages that songs of any other popular genre. And don't blame only the artists, but blame the consumers who buy the junk that they play on the radio.

The commercial crap is what makes up the majority of rap, what the hell is there not to understand?

I know rap may have a descent underground scene, I never disputed that, since I've been an avid listener of rap for years until recently, there is no need to point that cruddy argument over and over again. Alot of people you are arguing with are people who used to listen to rap alot.

I will definitely blame the artists, it would seem to me that alot of the popular artists will support anything that will keep the dough rolling.

After a little blip with some actual conversation and good discussion, this has turned into a troll-fest. It's a shame people can't discuss things without using blanket statements and baseless assumptions.
