All this is is spiteful desperation by the democratic party. McCain has been acing the campaign for the last few weeks and Obama is getting weaker because people are realizing there is nothing behind his words. All the left and the left wing media have done is tried to make issues of non issues because they've gone into paniced desperation mode. It's pathetic. "McCain doesn't know how many houses he has!!!" The houses were bought as investments by his wife. On a normal person's level, that's like someone knowing how many pairs of shoes his wife has. They don't even stay in those houses. So now, people are attacking Palin because she has 5 kids and wants to be VP and because her daughter is pregnant. Suddenly, liberals are the voice of family values??! Where were those values while Clinton was cheating on his wife, (possibly raped someone) , and admitted to lying under oath? Also, I thought the liberals were supposed to be the party of women's liberation. Palin is a strong woman who manages career and family, yet now they think her place is in the home? Folks, if this doesn't show the hypocrisy of the left and how they hold no values because all the care about is power, then nothing does.

No it doesn't work both sides. They have done nothing to contradict their standards. She is standing beside her daughter. That means they don't care about pregnant teens? Just how is Palin promoting teen pregnancy? You make no sense.

It isn't as if McCain goes and lives anywhere he pleases, he doesn't know how many houses he "owns" because he wife buys and sells them in order to maintain investments. A completely normal practice.

As I said, they're in desperation mode and are using anything they can. These are all non issues. It's another liberal double standard. People were worried about Obama's proclaimed mentor, the hateful Jeremiah Wright and it was dismissed as a non issue by liberals, yet they're all over how many hoses McCain has and about Palin's daughter. It's sad.

What I don't understand it how it's OK to make jokes about Palin's knocked-up kid, but nobody ever makes jokes about Bush's alcoholic daughters.

I think that's pretty similar to Britain, but no-one really cares that much if teenagers have sex once they're 16 as long as they use protection, and I don't know anyone stupid enough not to. Sex ed will not stop teenagers having sex, but hopefully it will encourage them to use a condom. Trying to stop Homo Sapiens having sex is doomed to failure, IMO, since we're worse than bonoboes, but the important thing is the protection.
