[QUOTE="MaXXXed_Out"][QUOTE="MrGeezer"] EXACTLY my point. You actually have the nerve to try to claim that THAT is "constructive criticism"? You've done a FINE job discrediting yourself.MrGeezer
that wasn't constructive criticism. that was just how I feel about smokers. when someone reminds you that smoking will kill you in hopes that you'll eventually heed the warning, that's constructive criticism. big difference between the two, bro. you didn't even correctly label what I was doing, so it's obvious you lost the argument and a grasping for a way out. but like I told the other guy, I'm smarter than you. so just cut it out lolYou just keep digging your hole even deeper, don't you?
If you have the opinion that people who smoke do not smoke out of free will, then WHY would you offer ANY kind of criticism?
Despite the fact that you've already destroyed ANY notion of ACTUALLY wanting to give constructive criticism in order to help people, then the ENTIRE ACT of giving ANY kind of criticism (constructive or otherwise) is rendered completely pointless by the fact that you don't think that they possess the free will required to HEED your criticisms.
So...given that you believe that smokers do NOT smoke out of free will, that sort of REMOVES any ability for your criticisms to have ANY effect on whether or not they smoke. Which means that you WON'T be offering any "constructive criticism". Because, you see, you KNOW that it won't affect them.
That is, of course, unless you're not even TRYING to help them when you criticize them.
Again, EVERYTHING is a risk/reward analysis. If you're offering "constructive criticism" with the knowledge that your criticism cannot help the people who you claim to be trying to help, then the ONLY one left to obtain the benefits of your criticisms are YOU. You flat out ADMIT that you cannot help them and that you hate them.
Which brings up the question of WHY you are even TRYING to help them if you hate them.
Which brings up the question of WHY you are even trying to help them if you believe that their actions are nonvolitional.
And THAT excludes them from being the ones who are intended to benefit from your actions.
The guy is hopelessly stupid. I don't think he deserves any more rational responses.
