He was warned for not posting his original thread in his blog. Posting another thread apparently set the admins over the limit. Someone's pretty drunk with power... I think that's an extremely silly reason to ban someone.

Mods, if you're listening- These 2 threads were legitimate because the person who posted them was looking for advice and empathy. A blog doesn't reach enough people, so he put it in the Off-topic section. There was no reason to mod or ban this guy. Very poor show, bad use of authority.

You know something, I'm glad this guy didn't blog it. I'm not tracking this guy, so I would have never known about it. Anyway, error_202, you handled yourself well. Trust me, if you struck him, a whole number of things might have happened. I can guarantee you made her feel more guilty bursting in on them and remaining quite, while packing your things in front of them than you would have if you started assaulting him. I'm sorry this happened to you, but I'm glad you dealt with it, so you can move on.
There was absolutely no reason to ban error_202, nor was there any reason to lock his previous thread, considering the reason the mod gave had little to do with what was actually goingon. The TC never even considered resorting to violence.
As for his banning, whoever is responsible should be ashamed, for his actions have caused many to lose respect for this forum and it's supervision,
Did I miss something were him and the "guy" friends if not why should he be mad at him or want to fight him?
If anybody should have got smacked up it should have been his cheating girl no ??
Anyway it sucks that he could have had a 3-way and missed his chance to treat her like the tramp she is.
Anyway good luck at least you found out some guys never do.

Totally agree. People always want to lash out at the person the cheater is with, but that guy didn't owe anyone anything. It's his GF that broke a commitment. well since you can't lash out at the girl. Most people lash out at the cheater...The girl will also get hers when he leaves her. With nowhere to go and no money she will be out of luck. Either way the guy would get the beat down and learn a lesson and the girl would be out on the street somewhere. Its a win win.
Can't lash out at the girl really she is the cheater as far as I can tell the guy did nothing wrong imo. You want to beat down a guy who is not your friend and maybe didnt even know what was going on. Cheaters are good at lying I am sure she told him that they were apart or he was abusive ect. In either case I am sure he did not break in and rape her meaning she was willing and let him in to her and her man's home.
The fact that he showed up during the time her man was at work means she was hiding from both of them. What I dont get is why he didnt throw her stuff out instead of leaving ??

We don't know the situation behind why he was banned and the moderators are probably not going to disclose the details, so please don't jump to conclusions. It is unfortunate that he had to get banned during this tough time and I hope that error_202 recovers from this whole situation. If he is reading this, I wish him all the best and I hope he gets through this situation safely.
Well I must say you did what was correct. Just appearing there is already horrific enough for the both of them. I'm very sorry that you had to deal with that. But all in all you have to forget about it and move on, always look on the bright side of life :wink:. By the way, that ban was a dumb move. Saying nothing more about the matter to avoid trouble.
He got banned? I would understand maybe if he went and kicked the guys ass or something like that or if no one gave a crap but really I think it's kind of kicking a guy while he's down. Oh well. Better luck in the future OP, I hope things get better for you.

I'm sure he knew they were living together. I'm sure he knew that they were so close. If you read the earlier post you find out that it was somebody he known. He had been doing it for a month. I'm sure somewhere along the way even if she lied he would've found out. I mean somewhere along the way she had to say "leave before my husband gets home". Also "it takes two to tango". So both were in the wrong. He deserves a beat down...so does the girl but we can't do that.
Sorry you had to go through all that, but now you know and it's time to move on to someone who will treat you with some respect... they're never 'sorry' about what they did - they're only 'sorry' that they got caught... remember that if you hadn't caught them now, this would have been going on behind your back for as long as they could get away with it - believe me... best of luck to you...

See, your girlfriend isn't sorry, she's sorry she got caught. If she was truly sorry, she would have confessed after it happened and begged for forgiveness, not you catching her in the act.
