[QUOTE="GreySeal9"][QUOTE="DevilMightCry"] This again? Do you see such evidence here? Do you not see I am in agreement with the President? Yeah, I am so racist I am praising Obama, who I think is a lousy President. Yeah, totally... So when I cite FBI statistics, I am racist for implying... what exactly? You're the only, that's interpreting it that way because you don't want to talk about the uncomfortable truth, which is that there is a rampant problem in the black community, which the President himself cited, with violence which creates a perception that all blacks are like that, which is bogus. But the reality is, when someone brings this up (and when I did, I specifically said it is a problem with culture, not race) you crucify them, instead engage in the conversation. DevilMightCry
I wasn't talking about this particular thread. I'm talking about your comments in other threads, which is probably what Zaibach was basing his assumptions on. It's wrong that he didn't actually bother to listen to what you were saying in this thread, but still, I think you might want to reread many of your posts and see how they come across.Â
Also, I myself said that there are certain problems in the "black community" (and many black people would agree), but you go farther than that and just seem obsessed with being negative about black people. It's one thing to acknowledge issues, it's another to be zealous about it. I remember when people were suggesting that certain problems in the community had to do with economics (culture and economics do have alot to do with eachother), you were so quick to shoot that explanation down. You always say you're talking about culture, but you don't ever bother to acknowledge that not all blacks share the same culture, just as all whites don't share the same culture.
Not to mention that you don't bother to back up many of your claims, or use questionable sources.
Lastly, it also doesn't make sense to talk about other people looking at issues through a lense of race when you have been known to throw around racial generalizations. Generalizations cannot co-exist with looking at issues through a non-racial lense.
If you changed the way you approach this issue, I think you'd find that you'd get accused of racism alot less.
If you want to have a conversation, PM me. I am not going to derail this thread. No need. I'll just drop the issue.
