Songs With Better Guitar Solo(s) than that of Master of Puppets'

Are there any songs with better epic guitar solos?

It could be melodic or rhytmic.

Metallica has songs with better solos, such as Fade to Black.

Uh, there are albums out there with far better solos than MOP.

Keep'em comin'.

I'm not really that fond of MOP's solo to begin with. So, that would be a good sized list.

I'm not really a huge Dream Theater fan but my favorite solo might be the tail end of Octavarium, that or Cynic's How Could I?

Heartbreaker by Led Zeppelin One of my favorite solos of all time.

imo Metallicas best solo is The Unforgiven. Megadeths Tornados Of Souls kills anything by Metallica. Check out Spastic Ink, lol.

Dude, Master of Puppets is one of Kirk Hammett's weakest solos. And I don't mean the slow interlude, that part's okay, but the fast solo in that song exemplifies everything that people hate about his playing. It has no feeling, it's not creative and it's not very memorable.

Kirk's played some good solos; Blackened, Ride the lightning, The Unforgiven (Screw off black album haters, the solo in it was one of his best) to name a few, but Master of Puppets is definitely not one of them.

To each his own. I like it because its soothing and relaxing. Not those metal solos where they play loud and the same notes.

You could say the same about freebrird but like i said its my opinion.

So what if its cliche. They must be good if its considered cliche.....

I'm a lefty, and yes i think jimi hendrix is a very good guitarist (he plays an upside down right handed guitar) but there are alot of good guitarists so i dont think 1 person can be the "best ever"
