That's terrible. I think that's a new ride too :? MoonFoxx
no,it's pretty old actually. I used to ride that ride all the time. I'm going to be sad if they take that ride down,it was on of my favorites.
I swear to god, Charles Darwin must have founded Six Flags. First this dumbass goes to a resticted area that's by the ride whilst the ride is going, and then last year at the Six Flags in my state a girl got her legs cut off on the tower drop ride because she decided she didn't need to wear the safety equipment like it was intended. Seriously, some people . . .Jaks_Secret
.....Idiots.
"the teenager jumped the fences to retrieve a hat he lost while riding the Batman roller coaster"
Little did he know that that was not the only thing he would lose that day...
:P
Seriously, I can't picture in my mind how this happened.. I've never seen that ride though so that has something to do with it. :P

I have a pretty good idea of how it could happen, the track runs pretty low to the ground afte rlike the second turn, just before it goes into a loop, or comes out of one. So that could explain how if he were standing in that area. Still, the noise would have given me a heads up.... no pun intended.

Play the video at 0:20. I bet that's where the teen got hit at.

Hmm... could have been any number of areas. Though I'm betting on the one towards the beginning, cause no one in their right mind would stay there knowing a roller-coaster moving at 50 MPH was swooping down close to the ground.
Seriously a kid lost his life. Why does the absence of remorse exist?--00--
Its a classic "Stupid People" moment, no one but himself caused what happened, I have no remorse for morons.
Must have been some experience for the people riding in front.bigfatcrap
D'ya think that if it was right before a loop, they saw the kids head falling when they went around?
[QUOTE="fluffers623"]lol owned--00--It's so hilarious that a kid died. You an ****
I think it's hilarious because he lost his life after scaling two six foot fences with signs that said "Danger: Do not enter" on them.
I'm just glad the gene pool is a little bit purer now
I like how they threw that tidbit in at the end about the legs being severed. Make it look like people are always losing limbs on Six Flags rides...
We all know the Disney tea cup ride is the most dangerous around, where are the stories on that abomination!?

I swear to God... the last time I went on that tea cup ride, I almost lost an eye.

Yep, the leg severs would be the second time I've hear of that happening at a Six Flags. The first was that time mentioned, and the second was at the one I'm near. Same ride and everything. Which makes you wonder; when they ran those ads with the old dude dancing, was he so good because he lost his lower body on a ride and those were robot legs?

I lost both my thumbs and my left testicle on the "It's a small world" ride yet that never made the papers.

Both your thumbs... and a testicle...
Sir, what were you doing to those poor dolls?
Its natural selection. On one side you this kid, who wanted his hat back, so he scaled two fences, WHILE the ride was going, instead of going to one of the employees around the area, Ride comes down, he has the classic "Oh Sh!t" look, and BAM, gone.
While his friend who was with him, most likely ducked.
Natural selection people, natural selection.
I find it not just funny, but pathetic to think how stupid people are these days. Scares me a little bit, I'll be honest.

Let's just say it involved a tub of crisco, a pair of handcuffs, and a bag of oranges.

Big Huge Labs. Be warned, though, it takes a master to pull one off correctly.
"Six Flags officials are uncertain why the unidentified 17-year-old from Columbia, S.C. scaled two six-foot fences and passed signs that said the restricted area was both off-limits and dangerous to visitors, spokeswoman Hela Sheth said in a news release."
Because he is (or rather was) a moron. There is a reason there are fences and a labled "restricted" area.

It's just photo, title, sub-title. The only masterful skill involved really is wit
Seriously a kid lost his life. Why does the absence of remorse exist?--00--If it were an accident where an unsuspecting victim was killed, it'd be a time for remorse.
But when the dead guy is some ****wit who decided it'd be a fan-freakin'-tastic idea to jump over two fences and go frolicing under an active and so very fast rollercoaster, all to get a hat, you're damn right there's no remorse, we're all laughing over the efficiency of modern natural selection.

Yes, but that's where the mastery comes in. Otherwise, you crash and burn or it seems like you're abusing the motivator.
