I don't understand how something like this could create that big a reaction.  Absurd.  Something is up.  I think the media and government are intentionally blowing it out of proportion.  

It's frustration manifested from many things I imagine. I think the government are particularly wary of further riots reoccuring as they did last year (or year before - I forget)

Utterly disgusting incident, hope those savages spend a long long time in prison for that. It's really surreal, seeing how much publicity they're getting though. I never thought I'd see a murderer with blood on his hands on national tv talking so calmly in front of loads of people about the murder he's just committed. Why the hell would anyone release that video? There's even a video of them getting shot by police now (seeing what happened, the police did a good job not killing them, the guy literally ran at the copper and was very close to her when she opened fire)EJ902

That is why it's getting this level of publicity. Two people carve somebody up on a city street in front of a crowd and calmly wait for cops to try and stop them. They deserve worse than any jail sentence could deliver.

Also why are people in this thread are being flippant when it's obvious why there has been outrage?

When was the last time somebody charged a police line with a cleaver in the name of islam? They sure made a big deal of it when homegrown terrorists left half arsed pressure cooker bombs lying around in a crowded place.
