Thanks to Trump, It's Safe to Say "Merry Christmas" Again

I think this is where a lot of people get lost with arguments. They tend to ignore what is actually said and instead replace it with their own variation.

Im not a believer in any deities, in fact im very anti-religion as a whole. BUT, i dont mind Christmas as a holiday or hearing it. What i do take issue with is our tax dollars going toward it and how its become a 2 month long event of fake capitalism under the guise of religion. Which btw... is one of the reasons someone as a Christian should be boycotting Christmas and not embracing it.... along with it not even being a Christian holiday.

I will say Happy Holidays simply because i have no idea what religion the other person is and how they may or may not react or feel about it. People want to talk about growing up and acting like an adult and being able to take these things... yah sure. But the other side of that coin is reaching the point where you understand these things and youre not looking to be an asshole for no real good reason.

Every time something like this comes up, its from the same people and they give the same bullshit reasons. Be it Marvel characters changing for the hundredth time in their Marvel lifespan.... the 99 times before that they dont give two shits about, all the sudden a black character or female character replaces them and all the sudden they care about comics, even though (QS im looking at you here) they cannot even begin to describe what is happening in comics or what these characters are about.

Or be it what is most likely Lukes daughter being the star of episode 7. Or a black storm-trooper.... holy shit i could not believe the reaction to that one.

Its the same people complaining about these things every single time and they can never give a valid reason as to why any of us should be concerned with these things and it always comes down to "because black" "because woman" and then they get sand in their vagina when you call them out for doing exactly what they are doing. "Im not sexist or racist, i just think this fictional character who has changed origins 74 times in 50 years is white....... why? Because he is!"...

BTw they did create new people and characters. Said people, merely took over a suit..... you know, if this is such an issue for you, then you must spend all day crying about this. Given how often it happens in comic books and how normal it is (and youd know this if you actually read comics)... shit, how many hours a day do you spend on crying about Robin regularly changing? Batman even? Spawn? Xmen? Wolverine and his really weird past that is so messed up we cant even really say what race he is. Superman? Goddamn, those six characters alone must take up 14 hours a day of you crying about them constantly changing. Or... or not. Or you probably didnt even realize how common this is, you just latched on to idiot youtubers who themselves latched on to bad news articles. A comment i once again feel okay making simply because of how out of date and unknowing you are on many of these topics..... the Cap. America thing you mentioned was a good indication. The simple fact that said story is what? a year old, and you could not even read (even though i dont think you read any of them) the very next comic to have your claim debunked?
