I've gone to other websites and I still come here--this other site isn't going to change my plans about that. Only time I'd be leaving is when I get banned.
I'll be using both sites until i can decide what my primary forum will be, but I'm that since giantbomb isn't that popular of a site there will be less 13 year olds signing up making girl advice/religion/spam threads.
Giantbomb's beta site launch isn't until Monday so don't expect to all have a fully working site for everyone to login to on Monday. A few weeks ago they announced in a podcast that if you sent an email and were lucky enough to get chosen you could become one of their beta site testers and be able to reserve your username. They have since announced, during their E3 coverage, that the beta site launch testing would occur the week after E3. Therefore if all goes to plan Monday should be the start of the Giantbomb beta site launch test and then depending on how that goes it shouldn't be long till the site is open to the public.
So to everyone saying "see you all around, i'm off to Giantbomb!" i wouldn't be too quick to say goodbye because you wont get in unless you've been chosen. Atleast thats my understanding of the situation.
Personally i will be still here on Gamespot and most likely on Giantbomb aswell as the two sites appeal to me.

no that's wrong, anyone can join. I'll personally be leaving GS to go there. It's become a pit ever since november and all of the good ones are gone; I feel like I'm next in line.
I just found out, the blog version of GB is stil available, just go to blog.giantbomb.com. Leave a comment on the latest video to show how excited we all are!

..Oh, and when the site is launched, I'll probably go for the odd video, or maybe a week-in-update video type thing, cause they can be funny.... I'll be staying to gamespot for most things, and the forum.

I haven't watched GS Live or read a review since Navarro left. Oh, and did you know nobody can quote anything you say without removing your name, because GS censors your username, what with it having a cuss word in it

As long as the site delivers as what they prommised, which would be live shows, video reviews, forums, information on just about every game, and of course frequent content, than I say the site can blow at any time. Ever since the anarchy that was last year, I haven't watched On the Spot or listen to The Hotspot, because they're not the same. They have no personality anymore. Hopefully I'll get my share of that on Giant Bomb.
I will switch back and forth. What is the sites name so I know when to go there to sign-up. I want to get a good username this time. Will the site launch tonight at 12:01 or tomorrow morning/afternoon. Ever since Jeff and Ryan left reviews have come way to late on some games. Mods become more strict and People have gone crazy here. As a good man once said " Introduce a little anarchy, upset the establishment. Fire one little staff member and no one cares because its...all part of the plan. But say your gunna fire one-little well-known review writer and everyone goes CRAZY." I'll be coming and going.

I'm not leaving, but if giant bomb lives up to expectations (which I think it will) it will become my main games website. I'll still come here, but alot less.
I won't be leaving Gamespot, I'll probably just have both Gamespot and GiantBomb's pages loaded up in different tabs, and switch between them. I like the whole Wikipedia type thing they're going to have, can't wait for that part.
The only reason I'll still be on here for, is the forum.

yeah i mentioned in my original post that i couldn't remember the name of the film. Almost put Dr. Zhivago lol, i get my doctors mixed up don't you know :P
