Well the Avengers movies aren't all out yet, so it is a little hard to compare.

I like the Dark Knight Trilogy more, but it is a completely different style. The Dark knight is more realistic and could, though extremely unlikely, actually happen. It goes a lot more into the personal storie of Bruce Wayne. The avengers is more of an action packed, unrealistic superhero movie.

Which is what superheroes should be.

Not necessarily, no

Yes.

"Oh, let's make superheroes realistic so that people can relate to them", yeah, make them have real emotions, but stop trying to put ralism in comics, cause God knows that what comics need, is more realism. I don't want "real" heroes, that ruines the point of them being SUPERheroes.

The Marvel Universe is great, and with ongoing talks to do a team up and introduce Spider-Man I'm even more excited, but the Batman films are far better.

(SPOILERS AHEAD)

They are important and make you think and have just completely changed the concept of what a superhero movie should be, while the world Batman lives in is about the most believable world I've seen in a superhero movie yet, but still capable of having a good plot and drama surrounding Gotham and the characters. When it comes down to it, there's also far better plot and character development.

I don't think I heard a single person honestly feel any emotion during any of the Marvel films, and everyone knew Tony Stark would be fine when it was time to go send that nuke back. On the contrary, the build up to the end of the Batman films had everyone believing and fearing for the death of Bruce Wayne, and when he got in The Bat and was about to sacrifice himself, I know quite a few people who felt genuinely sad and thought he was going to die, and it still would have been an amazing ending.

So The Dark Knight trilogy wins by a mile.

It looks like Ant Man is going to be getting a movie for 2015. I wonder who they pick to play him.

.. Batman... The marvel universe is ok but I do not understand The Avengers.. It basically was Transformers, with instead of giant robots we had super heroes.. I went in thinking I might see something great like The Watchmen.. What I got was a cheeseball fest of one dimensional characters.. Let me be clear I am not a DC fan boy.. Only reason why I use The Watchmen is because its basically the only other movie I can think of tha tinvolved multiple super heroes..

Other characters deserve a movie before him that's for sure.
