I might actually consider this funny if it wasn't the way many people thought. Unfortunantly. :(

I'm pretty sure your president insulted all the victims of 9/11 when he used it as an excuse to invade Iraq. And we all know how well thats going...
How would you know how well its going? Have you been there reciently?

DON'T encourage them conspiracy theorists can't recognize sarcasm (or facts) they'll think your serious!!!
I was in the fourth grade at the time of the attacks. But I never heard about them until I got home from school. My dad works in the World Financial Center right across the street. Luckily, he survived unharmed and took pictures of the wreckage (of course, my mom got calls from friends about my dad's safety).
Back when I was around five years old, my dad offered to take me into the World Trade Center. To this day, I wish I had gone with him. :(
Today is, unbelieveably, the 6th anniversary of the Spetember 11, 2001 attacks in New York City and Washington D.C. As a New Yorker, this day is hard to deal with. Please, share stories about what happened to you on that day. I will share mine later on, but please, I want to hear what other people went through, or thought about on that day.
This is a serious topic only. If you are going to make immature comments, leave, and never answer on this board.
Conspiracy theorists are welcome as well, because I would love to pick you apart with scientific facts, while all you throw back is peices from Loose Change. You insult my president, my deceased loved ones, and my city because you are a follower that believes anything Alex Jones or Charlie Sheen says, then feel free to get ripped apart by every single person that has lost a loved one on that day, such as I.
Anyways, please share your stories. Thank you.

Well, if you are not American, don't respond to the remarks about the president. If you are American, don't you dare insult the President of the United States. If you live in America, he is YOUR president, and you have no right to insult Bush.
newyork_graffit
I have all the right to insult Bush. Did my family vote for Bush? no, but we are stuck with him wether we like it or not. Just cause he is the president doesnt give him special privalages, even though he has them. Just because certain people dont like the current president, that gives you no reason to tell them get out of America. Saying that just makes you really ignorant.
Not to say i support 9-11 or anything, because i recognize that it was a horrible event and i feel terrible for what happened, but that has nothing to do with our president, and anyone has the right to critisize him anyway they see fit. Its called the first amendment, freedom of speech.

Funny how literally 100% of americans I have talked to say "my parents didn't vote for bush" some people had to vote for bush, so quit with the bush bashing trend, it's for 14 year olds that forget that after the attacks everyone wanted war, now that times have got tough everybody's complaining.

Witnesses mean nothing without documentary proof. If a plane the magnititude of a 757 hit the Pentagon, there would be significant debris. Even the damage looks it imploded.

Then again, our war is over.
We're fighting a war on "terror" now. And personally, Germany did pretty well from stopping a terrorist attack a week or two ago without sending troops into the Middle East.
I have to say, as tragic as it was, whether you call it a conspiracy or not, you have to admit it has been used and used again in order to force the Bush government's ideal down America's throat. Every day I put on FOX News and every day, 9/11 is brought up all the time, even in things that aren't even slightly connected.HandsomeDead
That's one reason why the Government executed it... propaganda. Think German Reichstag.

Ok I would agree, I am a Canadian and I am glad our government decided not to go into iraq, but yours did, and for the most part the people wanted it, but people don't like it now that it wasin't a cake walk.

That is true.
The government is using this tragic event for propaganda purposes to stay in Iraq. And to the people who are bashing the conspiracy theorist, they have reasons to think like that. There is some evidence that this was a conspiracy, but there is evidence that its not. We probally will not know the truth for a long time. Personally I believe Terrorists attacked us, but I think there is a lot more going on than we think.
AHUGECAT, I assume you believe what nearly 1/3 of Americans have been tricked into believing, right? That the Bush Administration orchastrated 9/11?newyork_graffit
What sounds more believable:
- 19 Muslims with BOX KNIVES (!!!) hijacking a plane of 60 + people (many with military backgrounds), doing amazing maneuvers (all while being off the radar) in order to hit a building so precise to make it collapse, despite the fact something like that is physically impossible.
- The Bush Administration demolishing the towers for propaganda for their planned War in the Middle East.

Hey buddy, I live in Illinois. For the passed 2 elections Illinois voted for Al Gore and John Kerry. Yes somebody had to vote for bush. Though remember Bush lost the popular vote, but popular votes dont matter.
Everyone didnt want a war, My family and our friends didnt want a war from day one. Im not bashing bush, no where did i bash bush, so stop complaining. All i said that if i did complain / insult bush, i should have the right too. If no one else likes it, they can leave America, the first amendment gives me the right to freedom of speech.
people parade this too much, it was a horrific day, why celebrate it as a holiday? haggard_kornI'm also tired of it...Like everywhere I was today American flags were flying, when normally people don't even have them out, and people were almost like "happy 9-11!!!!". I mean it's on the news and they show all the memorials... Seriously, our country did worse things to all kinds of people, so when people are like "It's the worst thing to ever happen" , they need to think about the stuff we've always done. Mainly remove an entire people and their culture from their land, enslave them, enslave blacks......
Sept 11th! Time to remind everyone of that terrible thing that happened!
If we didn't remind people, we'd forget it, just like people don't remember Peral Harbor or D-Day if the TV didn't remind them in the morning.
supercubedude64
it's actually kind of scary to think one day we all WILL forget. I mean in VERy long time; but still. It's kinda creepy to think about all the stuff we forget about where mass amounts of people have died.

- The fireball is that of a missile, not a plane, and even if it was - why are there no explosion marks on the lawn?Perhaps they were doctored
- The video skips a frame
- That does not look like a 757 - a 757 flying that low?!?
- Why did the Pentagon DENY videos of the attacks before?
That video is faker than the Osama tapes.

It's funny how the President exploited 9/11 to gain support for the War in Iraq. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. President Bush even said this. Let's assume 9/11 never happened. Would President Bush have gotten support to go to Iraq? No, it would have never happened. But with 9/11, he could use the weakness and ignorance of the American public to justify his war.

Missles don't produce fireballs, they just explode.Edit: Not that big a fireball anyway. Fireballs happen when there's not enough oxygen/oxidizer to burn all the combustible material at once and it has to spread out and be exposed to air before it can burn.

Speak to the people that pulled bodies from the plane wreckage that was buried into the Pentagon.
All these people must be paid by the government too.
