[QUOTE="DejaVu72"][QUOTE="LostProphetFLCL"][QUOTE="DejaVu72"][QUOTE="LostProphetFLCL"] Jimmy Page is overrated, Jimmy is not. And I don't really care how complicated a piece is. If it don't sound good, it is worthless in my eye.
You can go on and on about how complex a musical piece, I really don't care. Something I noticed is that alot of times the more complex a guitar part is, the less soul and emotion it has in it.

Right. Classical guitar has no emotion
Just because they don't turn the gain up really high and play very high notes in every solo in no way means that there is no emotion put into it.
That was complex, yes, but I got bored of it quickly....
Just because you got bored of it doesn't mean it lacks emotion...It just means that it is bad.
And no I didn't feel emotion out of the song at all.
Honestly, just because the emotion isn't obvious and given to you on a platter doesn't mean it's notthere. As someoneis a fan of many of those links you provided, music is created by mind and personality. A complex intelligent person has just as much emotion in his mind as a simplistic person.
It is not bad, it's just that simplistic obvious music only appeals to your mind. I enjoy some simplistic music. It is catchy, but apparently you are not capable of understanding the emotion displayed. Classical composition gives the piece emotion, not improvisation as you are used to hearing the majority of the time. Perhaps you should look into musical dynamic and understand how the numerous types of techniques classical musicians use to play each note is some form of emotion. Every note ever played in every piece of every genre of music has emotion and character to it, but sometimes not everyone is capable of hearing emotion that isn't forced into their ears.
