Morally, yes it's wrong. But who cares about morals these days. Use abortion for birth control.Use it for fun. Go nuts. Forget personal responsibility or sense, who needs those?

they're a living creature, that has to account for some amount of soul. and I'm sure a fully developed tapeworm has more soul than a fetus.

The bottom line is that it is HUMAN, and naturally we value human lives more than tapeworm lives.
It's the mother's decision to let the fetus live or die. In some cases death is the best option for both the fetus everyone else involved.

So, when do you consider a human to be a human?Conception? 6 months? 7 months? 8 months? 8 months and 1 day? 8 months 2 days and 7 minutes? When does human life start? Does it ever?
and how is this?verparanoidpers
fully developed tapeworm = able to live on own without host, albiet a short amount of time
0-4month old fetus = almost no documented cases of a premature birth at that age have seen life past a few hours.
in order to argue about soul, we have to have a clear definition of what it is. and we obviously have two totally differing opinions on what a "soul" is, or even if it exists.
when there is, beyond a reasonable doubt that the fetus could be birthed pre-maturely and still be able to make it. and at 4 months, a fetus has no chance of living past a few hours outside the womb. So, when do you consider a human to be a human?Conception? 6 months? 7 months? 8 months? 8 months and 1 day? 8 months 2 days and 7 minutes? There have been children that can survive as early as 24 weeks gestation. But then again, no child can survive on its own without assistance, so really, until someone hits about 10-15 years old, life doesn't really start IMO.

we kill our own people over the most trivial of matters.. you don't see tapeworms going around murdering other tapeworms. Personally, I think that's more moral than anything we coud cook up.
Again, we kill our own every day, what's killing a few more.

And they really shouldn't. If its healty and usable, keep it.And just think of all those stem cells they throw away. There's about 150 million births every year in the world and every one of them has an umbilical cord. Just think how many stem cells could be given to help further research. Even if we only were able to get a million umbilical cords, it would still be a huge help.

they still kill, their own kind, not just for food, but just to kill them out of some sick sort of 'pleasure'any being that kills, simply for pleasure, is pretty low in my book.

Do tapeworms kill for pleasure? I think not.Fellow human beings, we should take the example of tapeworms, and not kill eachother.
uhhhh, YES!!!!! is it really that hard to figure out?verparanoidpers
quite. for me, a creature that kills out of spite, or pleasure isn't very good.
so by that logic it perfectly acceptable and moral for me to kill you, your family, your friends, and everyone else you've ever loved, known, or cared aboutverparanoidpersno, we have life experiences, logic, reason, knowledge, ideas. a fetus... does not

Wow I'm sorry but that bold part just made me bust out laughing. A tapeworm has more soul than a fetus? You sound like you are trying to imply that the fetus has no musical imagination or something hahaha More soul that a fetus roflmao
Anway, your argument is flawed. Life and soul are two different things. Just because something is "alive," doesn't mean it has a soul. Oh and a soul is not something that comes in varying amounts as you seem to believe lol.
of course not bro..everyone has their own choices they can make..for example, to you, is going on online forums to waste some time morally wrong? ( i know it's out of context but w\e lol)someone having an abortion doesn't affect YOU, why would it? you don't know what the person has gone through. who are we to tell someone what they can't do because of what WE think. just like no one pounces at you for being a gamer

ah... and now we get to "the potential of a fetus to be a great thinker, to cure cancer" argument. what if the fetus were to be a serial killer, a liar, a cheat, a thief, a strain on society
