What are your memories of Gamespot

1) that time i asked a simple yes/no answer on the maple story boards and got flammed into oblivion

2) that time i posted my synopsis for a sonic the hedgehog movie and got flammed into oblivion

3) that time i posted about the october 14th ufo conspiracy theory (i think it became a YLYL but im not sure)

The guy who wanted to know why his girlfriend was getting so emotional when he was fighting other guys.

When all the guys I knew we here, before they got banned or just stopped using the site. I loved reading the blogs and keeping up with everybody.

In 2008 (I think) this guy made a thread about there being a cult in his university that meet at the local coffee shop and how he was wondering if he should look into it. He started posting about his friend or roomy who was involved in it and how he would follow him and find out all this stuff about this cult and of course everyone called him out on it. That was until he started providing us with video evidence of himself at the university and other stuff and so it went on.

Of course it was all shenanigans, I figured it out after he posted something about the coffee shops hours and the cult meeting there and doing stuff but not being recognised or something, but man it kept most of OT interesting for the weekend. One of the last truly great original threads to be had here.

Lots of funny stuff in OT, but mostly remember watching On the Spot live with Jeff, Ryan, Rich Gallup, Greg Kasavin and Brad etc, that was the golden age of Gamespot in my opinion.V4LENT1NE

I definetly agree with that. I'll never forget the Wii Marathon; 6 hours of Wii gaming with the gang.
