Funny how atheists like to keep a sense of humor, yet they must know that they're not going anywhere when they die, except hell maybe. Keep defending yourselves, when you realize that you believe in nothing, nothing good awaits you, it's actually pretty sad.Solid_Snake325

if Atheists dont believe in god, heaven or hell..... how would they end up in hell if they dont believe in it?

Prove to me that nothing good awaits me, o ruiner of all dreams.

I can't prove it to you, you have to have a little bit of something called faith. I'm not even going to try to bring up examples about heaven or hell because you'd probably not listen or immediately retaliate.

You call believing in evolution sad but what i think is sad is putting faith in something you or anybody else on this planet knows nothing about at all..

You put more faith in what you believe then we do!

That is something your kind will never understand.. FACT based vs. FAITH based..

Dude don't even start that crap, evolution is in no way fact, there are tons of holes and contradictions.

LOl and when someone brings up a hole or contradiction in the bible its explained by "god works in mysterious ways" LOL

That is exactly why you are so uninformed.. you are to lazy to do any kind of research at all to figure out there are many proven FACTS. Instead it's so much easier for you to believe there is a god that does everything for you..

So magically those laws prove that the earth is 15 billion years old? And can you explain what these arguments are. 'm not good at science at all (Now any atheist that might say "thats why you're a Christian", shut up now)

battlefront23

No sir. The Earth is only ~4.5 billion years old. The universe is 15 billion. I was stating those laws in relation to the end of the universe, as I thought the evidence you inquired about pertained to the end. Evidence of the Big Bang As for the end of the universe, it's best to explain the Second Law of Thermodynamics.

sorry I don't believe in what man says, only what God says. And in the evidence of the big bang site, I was just lost (again an atheist that says "thats why you are a Christian again shut up)

Are you trying to say that god comes down and talks to you personally?

HAHA, that is definately sig quote worthy. You know what, I know nothing good awaits me, I'll be dead and I can't do anything anymore. It's natural, sure it kind of sucks but thats the way it goes. I'm pretty sure other atheists understand this as well, or else we would be kneeling to a god to give us an afterlife as well.

Ohh yeah dude, God does everything, all Christians have to do is live a godly life, maintain a relationship with God, avoid deadly sins as best as they can, be a good example for others, follow Him till they die, etc? Don't call me uniformed about evolution when you're obviously uniformed about Christianity.

Secular funerals are much like Religious ones. The only difference is the lack of religious officials and there is no reading of scripture. There's still eulogies and such.

It depends on what you want I suppose. When I die, I'm only going to leave enough money for the cheapest form of body disposal. If anyone wants to give me more, they can pay for it themselves.

God said that if you're guilty of one sin, you're guilty of them all. We all deserve hell. However, God said there is a way out of that.

By repenting (asking God for forgiveness and turning the other way) and accepting Jesus Christ into your life. Then you are saved by grace (which means undeserved favor).

Anamosa41
100% correct. Now let's just wait to be flamed by the atheists. LOL

That's another point to be made. Most Christians are made out to be a group of people on a crusade cramming their religion down people's throats, but in my experience, it's been quite the opposite. Every time I speak to an atheist or an agnostic individual on religious matters, they begin to spout about how wrong/foolish/ignorant I am for believing in God.

Atheists admit that NONE OF US know where we are going when we die.

So in answer to your question, I don't know and neither does anyone else no matter how much they act like they do.

It's interesting to see people's opinoins on this. In my experience the religous people I meet, are rather preachy. We probably see it as being worse than it is, as it differs with our opinons...

Who's that girl in your sig? Just curious.

It's Christina Ricci.

She so purdy....

Quite purdy. BTW thanks.

God said that if you're guilty of one sin, you're guilty of them all. We all deserve hell. However, God said there is a way out of that.

By repenting (asking God for forgiveness and turning the other way) and accepting Jesus Christ into your life. Then you are saved by grace (which means undeserved favor).

I experience that all the time here on the OT.

It's interesting to see people's opinoins on this. In my experience the religous people I meet, are rather preachy. We probably see it as being worse than it is, as it differs with our opinons...

Oh I'll be the first to admit its a two way street. It's just that I never react like that to atheists, so it's not right for me to receive all this negativity IMO.

Very mature. I find it funny when people react to religion in a hostile manner. So pointless.

being opinionated is evil I guess

Our bodies rot or are cremated, and our familes or loved ones remember us, that's it.

I have Christian beliefs and values, but I don't want to label myself. I usually just say that I believe in God, not religion.

One of the thingsI just don't get is that, if God exist, what was he doing for all of infinity before he created us?

IDK. Maybe there are thousands of worlds filled with failed attempts at creating the supreme being. Probably playing around with his chemistry set >_>

What I ask is if God didn't make the world then how could the world start from nothing? And the Bible purposelys says that before there was anything, there was God.
