None, I was always taught to speak correctly

Everyone has an accent, including you,and that doesn't mean that they aren't speaking correctly.
I'm not sure how to describe it, but I suppose the easiest way would be that its the widespread Canadian / American accent that you hear the majority of people on American and Canadian television speaking.
There could be certain words that I say differently, but I don't know if that's true (or if it is, if it's just personal habit/voice).

This I guess. Sometimes I put a bit of a Brooklyn spin on my words but it's mainly just for kicks, and most people don't pick up on it.
[QUOTE="t3hrubikscube"]O M G EVERYONE HAS AN ACCENT why is this such a difficult concept for some people ? ? ! !Overlord93Its funny when You see people who genuinely believe they are from the place which doesn't have any form of accent. lulz
I have no accent. :D
I am Midwestern. Apparently we have NO accent of any kind, and that's why so many newscasters and stuff are from the Midwest.
Or at least, that's what one of my professors told me last year.
I think what you mean is that you have a NEUTRAL accent (which is still an accent), aka the Standard American/Dictionary correct accent. It's kinda like what the Received Pronunciation/Queens English is to British accents.I am Midwestern. A neutral, "southern" British accent. (Standard Received Pronunciation, I guess)
I suppose I would liken it to Hugh Laurie's accent.

A sort of London-ish accent. My Mum was from up north and I grew up with some people with very strong cockney accents and a few others. So I have a mixture.
lol at those claiming to have no accents (unless they're mutes, in which case I apologise)
