Every accent thread seems to have people that claim they have none.A sort of London-ish accent. My Mum was from up north and I grew up with some people with very strong cockney accents and a few others. So I have a mixture.
lol at those claiming to have no accents (unless they're mutes, in which case I apologise)

I speak lardy-dar posh  I sound like Emily Blunt in Young Victoria.
Blu even called me posh once
my accent is a lack of one. Sometimes I replace I'll with are. Like I add an "r" in there for some reason but people dont notice because it just blends with the sentence.
"no accent" in North America is an American accent. The English certainly don't speak their English the way we do over here.F1_2004There is more than one accent in the US....
I dont know what movie star has my accent, but people say I sound southern, british, and Chinese. I was born here in Maryland, and I have always lived here in Maryland, my parents were born here as well as their parents and even their parents were born here. If you look at my family tree, granted I think I do have some british in me, but Chinese? no one in my family tree is chinese
Probably cause you don't notice it. Every hockey player from Canada...minus French Canadians...I've heard have that accent.:PDon't have any accent, Canadian but don't we don't use "aboot" and "eh" around here.
EDIT: I see people are raging about people saying they have no accent. I have the standard American accent, K.

You certainly become very aware of your accent when you go overseas. I remember living with a girl in Sydney who couldn't understand me because my accent was too thick - at the time I thought that was very weird as I speak like the f***ing queen.
