I'm gonna say sex because I think kids know that the violence is not real. Then again, a lot of the violence is pretty graphic......I don't know - tough call....

Violence, I'm fine with my kids seeing nudity at any age, sex I'll save for after 8ish I don't want my kids seeing any really graphic violence until 12ish but they can watch horror movies and campy violence before that. Of course this can all be changed based on how mature they are.

Violence, for sex shouldn't be as taboo as it is, and violence SHOULD be taboo.

What's wrong with seeing nudity? Violence can scare kids, and give them nightmares. Sex just makes them curious.

There's no harm in knowing what sex is, at any age. In Norway kids learn about sex in school at the age of 10.

It depends on the context. Exploding heads and zombies biting people are fine for kids, but graphic gang violence and criminal activity are not. Simple nudity is fine but sexual activity is embarrasing to kids and not really suitable until they are much older. For example i would let a young kid watch a zombie movie but not a movie like Basic Instinct. Get the picture?

Depends on how much skin and what they are doing and what kind of violence. Teenage pregnancy is a huge issue and watching sex and skin scenes has a bigger affect on us than violence does (see some skin and you might get aroused -- especially childeren, but watching violence doesn't affect our basic instincts). Besides, the world isn't ready for people to grow up as wimps yet.

It's embarracing for them to watch with older people or parrents, but not always by themselves or among their peers.

Violence, because even if they know it isn't real, they become desensitized to it and that is dangerous.

Well, since boobs usually pop up on the screen too quick for them to cover their eyes, I'd say violence since kids of that age would think it's cool to do what they see on the screen....

Violence. I'm tired of this "hee hee" society that we have when it comes to sexual matters. It gets on my nerves when someone giggles when I'm trying to have a serious discussion about anatomy.

I would say sex. I made sound sadistic saying this, but if a child sees a rather graphics scene of violence, they may learn some early life lessons about what happens when you do stupid things. Depending on the movie of course.

I think its easy for a lot of us to say one way or another, but until we all start having kids (god forbid) I don't know as anyone can say one way or the other that doesn't have kids. I don't want my kids watching graphic sex or violence until they understand what they're watching, which can come at any age. I'll let them decide what to watch and read about and judge the movies they want to see based on their experiences.

I'll also make sure I watch the movie before they do so I can say whether or not they can watch it. I can't even imagine how my kid would act if I let them watch some of the more graphic movies that I enjoy such as Clockwork Orange or Kill Bill or something of that nature. Those movies were graphic for ME when I was younger and still leave imprints in my mind as far as content is concerned.

Obviously sex, because kids can't seem to think to buy condums anymore and end up having 3 kids by the age of 19.

If it's easy for you to bash someone's head in, you have problems. Violence is not a natural instinct in a civilized society (it's usually a means to accomplish a goal more than anything else).
