Stop yer' whining. When I started training just under 3 years ago I could barely bench 55lbs, was skinny, and looked weak. Now I look like that guy you posted from twilight. So stop being a cry baby and get to work.:P
If it was easy everyone would be "buff" but most people don't have it in them to become so.
I dont have the metabolism for it, I am lean with a okay body. But building muscle and gaining weight quite hard for me... as I gain both muscle mass and fat very slowly... so there is my excuse, although with a lot of spare time and a fully equipped home gym I would prolly be ripped as hell :D
being feminine
and i dont like exersise or sports(unless paintball) cause i think they are a bother and a bore.
For a lot of people especially in the age groups when you're in your muscle building prime, they just lack the discipline to maintain a proper diet and schedule. If you can eat enough clean calories, lift hard, and sleep, woo-pee you'll grow some muscles. Goes to show how lazy the general population is though :lol:achilles614cause alot of people chose not to workout and build muscle doesnt really mean they are lazy. just not interesting to lift weights and such.
cause alot of people chose not to workout and build muscle doesnt really mean they are lazy. just not interesting to lift weights and such.Yes, having no interest in your own health does in fact make you lazy. Sitting on your ass and being unhealthy is a pretty good waste of life....but of course a lazy person would disagree. Why are most people not interested in lifting weights if there are so many benefits it's unbelievable? Because you have to stand somewhere and sweat for 45 minutes...Not doing it sounds pretty lazy to me.[QUOTE="achilles614"]For a lot of people especially in the age groups when you're in your muscle building prime, they just lack the discipline to maintain a proper diet and schedule. ...people that lift weights to be 'big and strong' are dumb IMO. There is no need for things in modern society. Everyone should focus on staying small and fashionablerawsavonI've heard that before...usually from small and weak people.
I actually have a pretty good physique, I'm just small framed so I can't really get so big as much as cut. I have a good figure and I'm in relatively good shape, that's good enough for me.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^It's ugly. Totally unattractive. Two things that don't and never will apply to me.

Not lazy, I would do it if I had the space and money for my own house gym or at least a few workout machines. As it is now, the only way to properly workout is spending money which I don't really have all that much on gym, taking at least half an hour for changing clothes at home and gym + shower and another half an hour to get there and back and of course the one hour I used to do when I was practicing. On top of that I should have a diet. Oh please.
Getting a solid workout feels great, but I'd much rather spend that time on studying, learning guitar, playing games, going out etc. Let's be honest now, even if you get ripped when you do have time in life, sooner or later there will come a situation where you just won't have the time or interest to keep it up and you'll get out of shape. Nobody can take a degree away from you and you can't unlearn guitar. Playing games is just plain fun and friends are one of the most important things in life.
There's a lot of other stuff you could do instead of practicing that could keep you tons more interested and if you really want health you can keep a diet and run around the block half an hour a day. As for the looks, I'd much rather take fun and knowledge of things that interest me instead of being buffed. People look good without it anyway.
