Who would win in a war? Canada VS Russia

Everyone is acting like Canada doesn't have any combat experience...Canada helped the Americans by invading a different beach, that was defended by german bunkers, and MG nests. They fought in the Korean War and the Cold War.Vilot_Hero

But Russia has the Spetsnaz one of the most highly trained special forces in the world, I am pretty sure they are up there with the Navy SEALS

No one has ever attacked canada, no one has ever attacked any country in the western hemispher since the war of 1812 (other than a couple islands in Alsaka and Hawaii during WW2). Canada has also never fought a war by itself, or even a war without anyone more powerful there looking out for them.Jacobistheman

Go read my post a couple pages back and refute my points and claims. Get this through your head...Canada cannot defeat Russia, it's god damn near impossible. The conventional military power of Russia is only, and only rivaled by the United States of America, quickly followed by China and India. You talk of combat history...is this supposed to be a joke? Let me make one thing very clear: No western hemisphere power, superpower or not, CANNOT rival the major European and Asian powers, in terms of combat history, in all of history.

Conventional warfare breaks out the most that Canada would be able to do would be to go the table and negotiate. Lets say, America collapses as a major military power, thus essentially making NATO obsolete, and suppose Russia wants to build an empire from Eastern Europe to Western North America, NOTHING will stop them. The number of Nukes Russia possesses is not a laughing matter. I suggest you ask your history teacher what would happen if America collapses, NATO dissolves, Russia invades...thus becoming the largest empire in history, surpassing the British, the Mongolians, and the Soviets.

If NATO collapsed when the monster that was the Soviet Union was still playing ball, good luck buddy. Food for thought, since "thoughts" are suffering a bit, how about a nice snack?

Same deal with Australia.

Only one reason why this strategy wouldn't work for Canada. In every conflict where they acted as shock troopers (Western Front WW1, WW2) they were supported by much larger armies (usually the British or the Americans).

Without these armies, they'd be effective, but they simply don't have that rank and file to support them.

Canadians were defeated after trying to intervene in the Russian Civil War.

Canadians were stationed in Hong Kong to defend it from the Japanese. They failed.

Canadians were defeated in the Korean War.

The Canadian military suffered a particularly bad defeat when they were responsible for torturing a Somali teenager to death in 1993 during peacekeeping operations, seeing their presence rescinded as a result.

Of course Canada's list of military defeats is much smaller, simply because they haven't fought as many wars as the United States or European nations.

100,000? Have you ever even heard about the Eastern Front, the most bloody battles in ALL OF HISTORY took place there, unless ofcourse you think it's a fairy tale, I mean I bet no one knows about it other then me, and maybe a several billion others, yea that must be it.
