Why do people find September 11 jokes funny?

I will laugh at some of the most offensive jokes around---there's nothing funny about 9/11...

Anyway, I feel more sorry for the people in the second tower than the people in the first tower. I mean, imagine being at work one morning and an identical building next to yours gets hit by a plane. What's your first thought going to be? "We dodged a bullet! Un-LUCKY!" Five minutes later, "Oh for f*cks sake!"

Internet humor. Spend a day on that one site made by Moot. I believe it starts with a 4 and ends with Jackie Chan's last name (Gamespot sensors the website?) guaranteed you're sense of humor will change drastically and little to nothing will affect you emotionally when it comes to jokes.

Humour is a great way of coping with traumatic events. I even remember there being a book on jokes that prisoners told each other in concentration camps during WW2.
