I know, but there were different circumstances that led to that culture. And yes, although there isn't an island of people with certain hair colors, I could still group up all the blonde haired individuals and rob them of every thing they have and free them in a century with no money or support and thus creating an inevitable culture of blondies who weren't fortunate enough to have a nice background... If blacks came to America the same way whites did, they wouldn't have been grouped to this same culture.

Honestly, I don't know if you've seen Africa lately or what it was in it's previous state. But it is very uncivilized, well back in slavery days... actually no, it's still pretty uncivilized. Not even close to robbing a White suberbia of their posessions. A big problem I have is that the people who were actually slaves have passed away, now, all we have is people whining for no reason. No they did not live through the hard ship and yes they were born into a nice society which hands out money - yes free money - if you're poor; this is called welfare. Now, the part that gets me is when these people start asking for comphensation, I might not be racist but I find this insulting. Same with the Indians here in Canada, if you're 1/8th Indian they pay for your University. I find that rediculous, that's the same as: if the we were to take over Iraq, and occupy it with our people, like completely conquerd it, and hand out cards to the people who were 'natives' to the land that gives them all this free stuff, you would be baffled. Why must we give them stuff when we took over, I thought taking over ment ownership, ment control, not raise them above us... I dunno maybe it's just me, either way that's what grinds my gears.

Yes, but then again there is a fine line between reality and virtual reality. Anyways these shows are supposed to be censored by the FCC correct? Then parents should stop being irresponsible and letting their children listen/watch these kinds of things. Instead of playing the blame game people really need to start owning up to their actions. However, I still believe rap is a little more harsh; I've listened to many rap songs, some of them talking about disrespecting women some of them even play out a robbery as a part of their song! I do believe that rap has been a driving force behind the corrupting of many people and some of the culture, so I think it's the biggest problem overall. I wish more people would just say no to that entire genre of music.

Well, most successful people were around successful people, if you're dad was a slave, he's not going to be very helpful with your homework. He might know how to take a beating if the teacher gets mad though... The government damaged them, and they have yet to heal. If I shoot someone in the leg, the bleeding ten minutes later is my doing. The government shot black people a long time ago, but they're still bleeding to an extent. Some get healed, and some are born into those that were healed. But some suffer from what the government did all the way to now, generations passed and the effects continue. Just because you didn't experience it directly doesn't mean it won't effect you. Good parenting helps a lot with the child, unfortunately, the government only gave parents the options for that not too long ago... When segregation ended, they were still uneducated, then, there children were because they couldn't educate them, and so on... Most successful people were brought up by those who taught it, SOME are born into a family of nobodies, but most aren't. Wow, how is rap more gruesome than something like GTA? Honestly, that's just silly and biased. If you are arguing that media can corrupt a child, then a video game can do just as much damage as a rap song. But, the movie features white people so that's not bad, right? What about Menace 2 Society? Is that movie worse or better than The Godfather, or Scarface, or Goodfellas? Amen! The government and society thinks they re helping races by giving them free hand outs, but really they are only making the gap bigger and intensifying racism. See I don't know what's so hard to understand about that... Also, my dad never helped me out with my homework, sure I got some help from some teachers but I made it my way. I might add I am enrolled in university for honours Chemistry studying to be a doctor; so yes, it is possible. Africa is uncivilized due to British imperialism completely tearing apart the continent. The Berlin Conference divided Africa up into little pieces, giving each piece to a different country, tearing apart whatever culture was present in Africa. You know Africa did not even gain independence until the 1960's... after decolinisation Africa has suffered political instability and economic disaster... I wonder why. Yes, slaves have passed away, what a great observation. But slaves had children who would have been entitled to all the possessions that were stolen and taken away. Slavery is the reason these children were born into poverty. If slavery had never occured these children wouldn't have been growing up so poor... why on Earth would you not think they are entitled to any compensation. I think it's safe to say Scarface is more likely to make someone want to be a drug dealer than any rap song. No rap song, or any song, has inspired me to do something. But I don't care who you are, some of those movies really glamorize it, I mean I can't imagine anyone watching the montage in Blow without even at least THINKING about how cool it'd be...I'd have to agree. Even ads can glorify drug abuse (alcohol). And remember when smoking as deemed cool and hip? All of the popular male actors were doing it on screen, and they had their leather jackets with all of the hawt girls looking on with lust. Obviously rap is not the only medium that can inspire people to do things.

Jews have been persecuted on a global scale to a much greater extent than Blacks. In society people should be treated equally, meaning that every race and gender should have the same rights and priviledges. Black people aren't the only ones that are "hated" on because of their race.But the Jews are in a better state than blacks. The majority of people in ghettos are blacks not Jews. Judaism (jew) is a religion there for a white man can be a Jew. Being black is skin color there for being black will always be a factor for a black person. Jews are stereotyped now days to be rich anyway, not stereotype to be gangsta, rude, a killer, robber, violent, lazy, poor. All I'm saying is that a Jewish man being white or whatever can hide the fact that he is Jewish so he wont be discriminated. I am black i cant hide the fact that im black. So i will face discrimination and i have and i will most likely.
Sorry to hear that people discriminate against you, but the fact is it happens with all races. I m Russian and I have a bit of an accent and others find that as a target for hate too mostly because of the way the media portrays Russians (usually as terrorists or villains of ssome sort). We're both targets, but what makes us different is the reason as to why we're discriminated against. A black person, if discriminated against can easily take it to court (being called the n-word) meanwhile people of other ethnic origin won't stand as good of a chance because their is lesser awareness and society doesn't concider it to be as bad (calling a Russian a dirty @$$ed barbarian or a red skin doesn't sound too hot in my eyes, but if I were to tell people about those things, they wouldn't react in as drastic a manner if I was Black and told them a white person just called me the n-word). What I'm trying to say is everyone can be a target of hate, and rather than deeming one group as a specific minority (likes blacks) and treating them differently, people need to look past what people are branded as and look at who the person actually is. It's not just for races either, the same thing goes for genders and sexual preference. Heck, I have a friend who is gay but he acts like a regular person rather than a girly-guy like the gay stereotype suggests. I guess society needs to grow up and stop showing prejudice because of race, gender, etc. and treat everyone equally.I agree! But the N word is the worse slur out of all! Because its not a racial slur when blacks say it to each other. When i say whats up my n*gga to my friend who is black i don't mean "you dirty stupid lazy monkey" like some racist would mean, I mean whats up "bro" or "man". Now if white people were to use it, it is not right because you can never tell who has hatred toward black people now days. The n word is a slur racist use toward blacks to offend them and for them to use the n word also to address there friends would be almost a double standard in a way. I cant go around asking every white person "are you a racist? if not then its cool for you to use the n word if you want to". Its just better off not said by white people. Cause if white people using the N word is ever socially acceptable as a greeting toward there white and black friends.....what are the racist white people gonna call the black people when they get mad? There still gonna call us The N word only in a "stupid lazy dirty monkey" way. Then a white guy who secretly hates blacks would call one the n word and he will be able to play it of and be like"no i was talking to my friends". It would be a get away for racist whites if all white people can use the N word.
