[QUOTE="Jamalamanabad"]

[QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"] That might be true, but even if that were the case I'd argue that there are a plethora of better sources to learn lessons of equality from than the Bible. -Sun_Tzu-

you ussd 'plethora" in the wrerong way

"plethora" means too meuch but in a bad waey

No it doesn't

Yeah, plethora simply means an excess. Apparently it is often associated with bodily fluids. The word that Jamalamanabad is searching for is "Surfeit".

I pity the education system, the amount of people choosing to believe in magic rather then evolution is very worrying.

[QUOTE="toast_burner"]

[QUOTE="kingkong0124"] I don't agree with his statement. kingkong0124

Well he's correct. the bible is very racist and homophobic. There isn't much to disagree on.

The Bible is not racist at all, LMAO. Explain the plethora of Black preachers we have in the U.S. and The Kingdom of Axum if that was the case.

Dude, you are either a troll or just a dumb @ss, prolly a dumb @ss. Your statement just shows how ignorant you are about the teachings of your own religion. Your op was stupid and this is even dumber. The old testament is full of murder, rape, genocide, racisim(the Jews are God's chosen people) and homophobia; all commited with permission and encouraged by God himself. The God of the old testament is an awful character and It would be safe to say that the avarage person has a higher set of morals than that god.

How about bacteria mutating rapidly to gain resistance to new antibiotics? That's an observable example of evolution. Do you just make the ignorant claim that they're not actually evolving and it's some "political agenda" instead?

I don't believe in evolution because:

A. I've never seen any evidence to support it.

B. It's nothing like what Darwin theorized in the first place.

C. Even if it was, he was crying out "God forgive me." on his death bed.

TwighlightBlade

A myth invented and perpetuated by creationists. But irrelevant regardless. Also he never formulated his ideas with the goal of supplanting religion, but the older he got he became more increasingly distanced from theism. He never once, however, denied the existence of God.

Go read a junior high school level biology textbook.

What makes you think that's right? Have you done critical analysis on it yourself? Or are you just going to go with an appeal to authority like you usually do? "He has a Masters in Biology, he must be right!!!"

As usual, you have it the other way around. It's usually the creationtards who are sucking people with Phd's cock because they have no other evidence for creationism. You probably never went to high school, so nobody expects you to have an idea on how textbooks are written (they never appeal to authority; all they do is give you the name of the guy who discovered it). They usually describe in detail the experiments conducted, the objections to those experiments, and the evolution of the idea that was tested. The only people who suck dicks and appeal to authority are creationtards, sorry.

The scientific method, go look it up. It's something creationtards will never manage to do because their "theory" is garbage and untestable.

B. Your mental retardation would probably be enough to disprove evolution.

C. You should be castrated.

Evolution is not up for a debate anymore, it's an established fact. You can choose not to believe in it the same you can choose not to believe in gravity. You have the right to be a dumbass, if you so choose it.

Oye.....why can I never just talk like an average joe about science topics instead of typing an essay to explain things....I was just speaking in general. conciousness is only happening because of chemicals doing what they do in the brain. I didn't want to get technical, i was just agreeing with you that it's an amazing little thing

I'm not joking. Give me a rational explanation. David Duke is basically claiming that White people are superior to Blacks because they were developed differently as they were geographically separated, just like the finches in the Galapagos. Unless, of course, maybe there's the idea that all men are and were created equal, that comes from Biblical texts, but knowing you, you will discredit it.

Ironically, the white race has 2.5% neanderthal DNA, and Asians have 5% neanderthal DNA So, you could say we are actually less advanced

[QUOTE="BranKetra"] I assure you that they do. If not, where did life come from?BranKetra

Do you even know what an atom is? Each animal is made up of lots of little cells, each cell is made up of lot's of atoms. A single cell is not self aware, let alone an atom.

Yes, thanks for asking.

I didn't ask anything.

You should go read up on basic evolution, you clearly know nothing about that, let alone the origin of life.

Atoms get together. Magically, though science, these atoms (now together) form life. By themselves, atoms are nothing, but billions of them together can form conscious beings. Besides, who are you to claim that atoms are not self aware? Do you have anything to substantiate that claim?
