Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus

That video is a load of crap:

- Jesus didn't come to abolish religion, he preached that he himself was divine, that only through himself you could be saved; THAT is religion.
- He loves the church, he loves the bible, he believe in sin and yet he rejects religion? :lol:
- His explanation for religion and Jesus being on 2 different spectrums is meaningless.
- Jesus took what we all deserved: getting beaten and getting nailed to the cross. I really don't think EVERYBODY deserves that.
- How can you actually believe Jesus was thinking about YOU while he was dying on the cross?

How can you actually reject religion if you accept everything about it? This video is like a merketing campaign for Christianity.

Well (some) Christians don't consider Christianity as a religion cause they feel religion is evil (which it is) But just because you worship Jesus doesn't mean you have to be religious.

As an agnostic, I don't believe any of that. I am leaning towards he didn't exist and all of the biblical stories of him are just that, stories.Austindro

In any case; haven't heard anything about jesus being a bad person or an evil dude, or just a regular couch potato. Only good things. So, if there's sientific proof of him existing, and no one issaying a bad word about 'em, he was probably a good person when he existed.

Probably the second one, maybe he did THINK he was all that sh!t, maybe not. Personally i'd love to just have him round one day, just chill with a few drinks and talk about this stuff though. I reckon he'd be a good dude to shoot the sh!t with.

In modern times we look at a person like Gandhi or Martin Luther King and have holidays and buld statues for them because of their outstanding peace efforts. Imagine if somone like that existed back in times when people belived sea monsters were real and the world was flat, what type of recgonition those people would give them.What probable happened was a guy named Jesus probaly went around telling people about peace and love (tell me he doesn't look like a hippie) And then people thought he was way too nice and peaceful and they started making him into something he is not. Jesus himself said im the son of man, not the son of god.

Did Jesus speak out against the Romans? I'm pretty sure in the Bible story of Jesus, Pilate knew Jesus really didn't do anything wrong, it was his fellow Jews who got him killed, not the government.

Well that was the point of my saying. He got crucified because he was opposing the greedy nature of Jewish temples who did pretty much the same what Churches in the ages to come.
