That video is a load of crap:
- Jesus didn't come to abolish religion, he preached that he himself was divine, that only through himself you could be saved; THAT is religion.
- He loves the church, he loves the bible, he believe in sin and yet he rejects religion?
- His explanation for religion and Jesus being on 2 different spectrums is meaningless.
- Jesus took what we all deserved: getting beaten and getting nailed to the cross. I really don't think EVERYBODY deserves that.
- How can you actually believe Jesus was thinking about YOU while he was dying on the cross?
How can you actually reject religion if you accept everything about it? This video is like a merketing campaign for Christianity.

You copied that from the video response but I agree.
Well the main reason why this is even an issue is because religion has kinda turned sour in the past 2000 years. The religion and Christianity we see now is really a dumbed down version of how it should be when the early churches were started by the apostles. This guy is saying that Jesus and religion is different because the religion now does not live up to how Jesus wanted people to live there lives, which would be for His glory. What Christians need to do is take back the religion and share the gospel the way it was supposed to be shared, and that is through love and grace through Jesus Christ.
This is what the guy was saying when he was speaking out against religion.
There is no contradiction here, it's just that we have turned Christianity into a religion that is not entirely Christian in Jesus name. How do we get back to how real Christianity is? Real Christianity is supposed to be "good news" but so many people reject it and think of it as a narrow-minded train of thought. It is supposed to bring hope and peace but many people view it as a nonsense way to live.
What we Christians must do is get back to the scripture and focus on Jesus Christ who died and resurrected and only through Him are we saved by grace. This should bring people hope and joy, but sadly we as a church have failed miserably and I apologize on theirs and my behalf.
That is not what he said.
