he quoted my blog entry and said something about me being bored, coming here and messing around talking about crazy things... then he joined in and ranted on about life... it was all quite poetic and then someone jumped on him and responded to his post about philosophy all in a Far Cry thread.

I posted that Far Cry's AI is broken in parts that detracts from the whole experience as my opinion... i was then hounded on by rabid posters saying i was wrong despite a bunch of other professional reviewers saying pretty much the same thing.

so seeing as you're not going to prove my opinion wrong, and i can't make people change their minds... I did have a bit of fun in this topic.

as you can see if you read through my 6000 other posts, i've never gone this far off topic and thrown together a mish mosh of so many different topics before. i've also admitted when i was wrong about something and i've also apologized about things that i said out of error in other topics.

but this topic i didn't take seriously after the 3rd or so post... it was a needless discussion, all the Far Cry fans were going to say I was wrong even though I can bring up numerous points of proof where the AI just does down right stupid things along with quotes from other professional reviers that say "The IA does a ton of things right but does other things really stupid" of course they might have not rated tilt an 8 or whatever I rated it because of it but that's because we're different people

i tried to quit a long time ago by asking what are we really arguing about when I reviewed the game an 8.7, didn't say Far Cry was overrated... I'm part of the 93% of gamers that thought this game was great that you were trying to say i was going against... but people still want to talk about britney spears, my dog's mental problems, human attraction, fixing bikes, car inspections, philosophy, Venus De Milo and everything else.

i guess it would help to say that I'm a big fan of South Park and love when they just throw crazy things like "crab people" when you think things can't get anymore out of hand than they already are.

lol an emblem would be great... but a lot of this is thanks to the other readers and posters. I never hit the mod button on a guy i'm messing with, it just doesn't seem fair, but i'm surprised neither of us has been cited by someone else.

wow i completely disagree it was a great game and i lvoed the story. i dont really even care about gfx. i baught it in the bestseller range when i could max out the graphics, i played it for half an hour, found it too hard and left it for a few months,

 having gone back to it recently, i think its amazing. its not the quake FPS you were expecting, its just a tec demo with a game added on, an open island that you need to think outside the box to survive on, if you expect yo be able to go toe to toe with thease guys ur wrong, and thats why i found it so hard. i was playing it like youd play a quake deathmatch. this is more subtle and smart fps,

Far Cry was good at its time and so was the multiplayer but nobody ever played it. I think it is a good game and deserves a 9. I liked it with its great graphics and gameplay plus I enjoyed it and I do not think it is overrated.Allan225
