I didn't think that was possible...

It didn't get worse. It just changed. I pumped a ton of rounds from a jeep into another guy in a jeep just sitting there, and he walks out, turns around, and kills me on foot. Although, most shots feel a hell of a lot more responsive. Headshots from short-mid range with snipers actually feels like you got him. They always fall down now before you gotta pull the bolt back, instead of after.
Supression is the worst change though. It just feels horrible.
Weird how it's still not perfect, oh well, that's BF for ya.My only complaint at the moment is the awkwardness of C4... It sometimes doesn't detonate after pressing M1 3-4 times... But still, it's so fun to run around Noshahr Canals on TDM and plant C4 between the cargo crates then hide and press the detonation button and watching the word "WTF" appear over and over in chat :D
or just running up to people, planting and detonating killing myself and everyone around :D

[QUOTE="HavocV3"][QUOTE="trastamad03"] Ok, Bye :D Less whiny people, that can't change their play-style a bit or can't adapt to changes, the better :)trastamad03
yeah.
everyone needs to change their playstyle to something like this.
#sofun.
a decrease in drones would be much better than a decrease in whiners.
Supression perk. Use it :) So the suppression perk is the new magnum perk of Bad Company 2? Awesome balacing *obvious sarcasm*[QUOTE="trastamad03"][QUOTE="HavocV3"]Supression perk. Awesome balacing *obvious sarcasm* Squad Suppression perk, only 1 person (who has unlocked it) can equip it and everyone in the squad will benefit. Also, take 2-3 bullets bursts while suppressed. Aside from being blurred, I've been able to kill people no problem. Just adapt. If all else fails, C4 the hell out of everything.yeah.

MUahahahahahahah!I didn't think that was possible... It is possible. I've been saying since the game came out. For me, hit detection wasn't an issue since day one. I even praised DICE for getting the hit detection right since Bad Company 2. Post-patch, the hit detection is abysmal. And it "IS" possible. With new patches, you can fix one thing and end up messing up another. It's very possible and it did happen. At least for me, it's fact.[QUOTE="Elann2008"]Well, I feel good uninstalling BF3. Since the patch, I've just about had it with the game. Suppression is RIDICULOUS. One bullet. And I mean, one bullet at any range suppresses (blurs your screen). Hit detection has gotten worse. I don't know how that happened but I'm not surprised considering DICE's track record. Pre-patch, everything was fine. Tanks are weak now.. and can be disposed of in a couple of RPG/Javelin hits. As a player that uses the Stinger, I can easily take down helicopters in two shots, as long as I'm in range they don't stand a chance. I feel sorry for you heli-players. Operation Metro - which use to be fun and my stress-reliever map is atrocious. It was fun before, but with suppression and hit detection being **** now, you are basically playing a map with blur on all the time. I have put over 100 hours into this game and that takes a lot for someone like to me to invest such amount of hours into a game. But I'm done. The game at this moment is a headache to play when it was suppose to be fun. /rantmitu123

DICE can't fix 20th century client side hit detection limitations. It was a design mistake switching from server side to client side from the alpha to the beta, just to save a few $$$ by reducing server usage. The alpha hit detection was very good with the exception of a few bugs (hitting two parts of the hitbox for double damage). DICE already proved they could make fairly good server side hit detection with BC2. And, more importantly, BC2 hit detection felt fair, except when you ran into a glitched sniper who was invincible for some reason. The BF3 beta hit detection (client side) was abysmal and players were dying left and right long after they had hidden behind cover.ultrapc

The reason I quit BC2 was because of the piss-poor hit detection. I could never, ever hit a damn thing in BC2 unless they were right in front of me, and even then it was iffy. Not even BF3 is that bad. That, and I got tired of being sniped by magnum shotguns.
