I'm downloading it now, but it's going quite slow.

Yep. I'm downloading it at 350kb/s; as fast as I can get apparently. I think there might be a hard cap on download speed.

Why are you referencing one of the worst movies of all time? Anyway I'm not downloading , I'm buying a lot of RPG's this year but DA II is not one of them. Have fun though.

Right about what? It was about no iso-camera, no mod tools, shortened length, and being dumbed down. Which are all confirmed to be true by the developers.

Dozens of day one DLC items (which even include characters) aren't helping me buy this game either.

They know the game is going to sell well, offer a promotional addition with 1 million downloads, then don't prepare their servers for the massive response? It took me 6 hours to download the demo only to be greeted by a corrupt data message when I went to install. I'm going to try again, but giving it a week or so before I do. Flame all you want but the first game was a struggle to get through for me. I enjoyed the combat and look of the game, but the story was so bland and uninspired that by the halfway point I really didn't care what was going on, I just wanted to finish.

Stopped my Download i had a good speed ealier but had to pause it! Starting it back up resulted in a rarther poor speed so i will finish the download tomoz. Immpressions ASAP please Guys remember the game is set to Normal by Default i belive and before we go APE on the graphics a lot of the settings are disabled. I want constructive and honest opinions because the last Dragon Age was a good attempt at bringing the D&D type combat to more people. < My fav Genre i think specificallyu that one within the RPG Genre.

I dont like demos at all, but I think I will try this after I am done playing the Shogun2 demo (which is fun, though limited, as most demos are).

Well, its currently going at about 50kbs per second, for a 1.9 gig file, which leaves me with about 10 hours of wait time.

I cant say I imagine them getting 1mil downloads with speeds like that.

with such large ambitions you think they would have rented a bunch of servers to host the demo downloads or something.

First also had too much DLC and I found their ingame advertizer downright offensive.

And to be honest, I found the gear selection in DAO rather underwhelming ;)

Edit: Install the demo as we speak, shame it's almost bed time.

hahaha...i started dl at 240kb-ish its now at 72kb with 742mb dl'ed and getting worse after 3hrs...i'm mad because i didnt use a dl manager to pause it if i needed todragonzw2c

Seems to me like the demo does'nt like dx11 and SLI.

Medium ain't pretty, I'm not even going to post actual gameplay footage.

I played through it once. I liked it. With that said, I can see some of the die hard Origins fans finding stuff to gripe about. I'm still not certain how I feel about Bioware getting its Mass Effect in my Dragon Age.
