AAAAHHHHHHHHHH! why does Steam require you to have a Credit Card or Debit Card linked to your paypal account to purchase from them through paypal! *Sigh* and here is KOTOR taunting me in the face for $2.50...RamenLovingPandReally? I was able to buy it through my PayPal credit. Maybe they need them linked so that your ID can be verified, I have mine linked :D
I can't wait to see tomorrow's games :D. But I bought no games so far :( *Hangs head in shame*scar-hawk
Same here.....was close to getting Batman couple days ago, but I bought the complete 2nd season of Dexter (from amazon.com), best show on TV instead.
A good price for Fallout 3 and Torchlight would get me in the game, scuse the pun.
[QUOTE="chikinlad"][QUOTE="Jordo321"]Same lol, Due to the fact that some of these aren't dirt cheap like the D2D $5 sale, there's probably going to be alot of regrets. In the $5 I bought whatever I was mildy interested in, because who cares?? But even the next day I'm thinking DA:O could've been kinda fun, I'm waiting for a games that were on my to-buy list before this sale (Arma 2 mostly, but I seriously doubt it'll come up). I predict that the week will go buy and I'll go DAMN, I should've bought _____, as I'll leave the sale with nothing.gigatrainerYou should be ashamed of yourself for not buying Dragon Age If thats the case, I'd be the most shameful and disrespectful guy here. I didn't get KOTOR or DA:O....:P
I already got KoTOR for $5 on Steam couple weeks ago, I'm not getting DA:O right now, I have plenty of games to play, and that price will drop.
waste. That deal is so awsome, but the other deals of the day suck, except maybe batman:AA if you like batman. Anyway, dragon age already 25% off make me LOL so hard. Must be selling bad DA has to be selling well, I'd be shocked if it wasn't. I think we'll see sales on just about every game, despite sales or not. [QUOTE="kieranb2000"]Oh god, my student loan is going straight to Valve I think o.o Just bought the THQ complete pack and Grid. But I refuse to install any of the THQ games or GRID until I finish Fear 2, Overlord and Overlord 2 :x I WISH we had STEAM back in my college days, back then we'd have to actually drive to an Egghead or Electronics Botique :/ .....Can't get enough of STEAM, it's a PC Gamer's dream.[QUOTE="dlindenb2000"]I bought the THQ complete pack last time it was on sale. But there were less games in it then, and it was only 33% off. It didn't have the 3rd CoH title, Saints Row or any of the Red Faction games in it. Those new games add up to over 50 on their own, so thinking of buying the package again. But my question to anyone, is what happens to the rest of the games in the package? Do I get copies of them to give to friends, or do they just go to waste?Franko_3

I just picked up B:AA, amazing game, and I have way too many games to play as well. I figure, the more the merrier :) Dragon Age is probably the best imo out of all the games out right now, just an amazing RPG if you're into that sort of thing. Oh, and Blizzard just sent me a free week, so I've been playing with my alt too, it really is overload.Borderlands is listed as £20.99 on the main site, down from £29.99. So that sounds right.Steam is going to crash
a friend told me this is what is there..
Borderlands: 33% off.
Spore: 50% off.
City of Heroes: 50% off.
Trine: 50% off.
THQ Pack: 50% off.

Ghostbusters: 50% off.
L4D GOTY: $7.49
Espada12
Borderlands 4 pack is down from £89.97 to £59.97 too.

Yeah, your friend is correct.
It's like Resident Evil 4, only prettier and not as fun. It's a good game, but not great. It feels very dated. How is Resident Evil 5?

Hmm, maybe Order of War as im into the WWII mood at the moment. L4D seems to be good for the price, and maybe Trine for a casual game - all the others i already got hmm.
What you guys think of Order of War?clixshper
Judging by the demo, OoW is not worth it. It's a crappy World in Conflict clone, you'd better get WiC.
Trine is not worth it either IMO.

I disagree with Trine, but agree with OoW. OoW Is possibly the only game on earth that would make me recommend the mediocrity that is WiC.Really solid game. The structure is essentially the same as the previous game -RE4 which was marvelous-, but added in with co-op and it can be satisfying(RE5).How is Resident Evil 5?

Visually, Resident Evil 5 is one of the best looking games; there were moments that literally awe at the image quality, though some textures can be a bit lower res. Levels are linear, so it can be quite agonizing for navigation. However, it runs great and controls really well -far superior then Dead Space rubbish controls-.
At 24.99$ I will recommend the purchase.

How long is the game?Is L4D worth a purchase for that price?
I mean, now that L4D2 is out are there still people that play it?

How long is the game? Haven't finish a full complete yet, but according to a GS review he benched about 12 hours. So far in my playthroughs the game is marvelous.May pick up Spore as well.I'm thinking about getting Spore, how is it? Is it any good? Worth the price?
I'm reading some reviews about it now...
AciDiCa-
What you guys think of Order of War?clixshperI'm downloading the game now.. 75% downloaded. I'll let you know, but the review said it was fun, which is good enough for me at only £7.50 :P
its a good deal. The community is much smaller because of l4d2 but it is still pretty large. Is L4D worth a purchase for that price?

I missed KOTOR for $2.50?
*rage*
From how buggy it is, it sounds like you dodged a bullet. It works fine on windows 7 x64Random fact, Majesty 2 is no longer on sale, and is now in fact cheaper than the sale price - http://store.steampowered.com/app/25980/ I think this is probably some kind of bug with the Steam store caused by the sale, so I recommend anyone who is even mildly interested in the game scoop it up now before someone notices :Pkieranb2000Thanks for the Heads Up. I was differing whether to get this or not . As there is nothing in today's sale that has tempted me I'm going to grab it while I can. On another Note - I can recommend Trine for anyone looking well polished platform experience.
