· Also it's not about the money...it's about being extremely disappointed that you can't play.
I don't think the $$ is an issue for most.

I don't care about the free 7 days, I care about changing my Elven to a Human  But I have to wait tell my free time is up cause they wont give you the veteran rewards tell they charge you...

buy an online gamecard code, thats what i did.looks like the server issues are mostly alleviated... logged in to adamantoise.... a completely jam packed server... at 6PM prime time.... no queue, no issues. sounds like the problems are behind us finally. i recommend everyone check this game out once digital sales are opened up again.Geminon
I found a copy at a local gamestop today.

[QUOTE="MBirdy88"][QUOTE="Advid-Gamer"] Nice, I am only level 6 at this point, I dont have the stamina I used to for long play sessions, but I want the fck out of this starting area its boring. I am a mmo vet so I know game sucks early on people in chat tell me not to rush it because there is a good story there but Im not seeing it yet. I guess I m the type of player that likes being high level and doing end game, these find and fetch quests bore me. I am going to stick it outArthas045Yea, standard affair there, the classes, story and dungeon difficulty start to pick up after 30 or so. you will find the game ridiculsouly easy/typical until later levels by the producer's design. He designed it around the concept that there will be a lot of newcomers to MMORPG's because of the console situation so everything low level is design to gradually show newcomers how to play (more so than most MMOs). You may also find that your class lacks "buttons to press" early on this is VERY true. with jobs and ectra classes though that changes. I agree with this the game starts to take you in an uphill climb starting about the 3rd dungeon. I heard at 30 is where it really cranks up the heat. I cannot wait actually I am 23 Archer now and can't wait to get a Bard going.... I noticed that when you switch classes say Pugilist for example you get XP bonuses to help you level faster.
Lvl 32 is when it gets real, that's when Brayflox's dungeon happens and needless to say....it can be a pain in the ass, then there's ST (Sunken Temple) at 35 which I've yet to complete.

I'd say the lvl 30 stuff is simple compared to Garuda or the lvl 47+ dungeons.
Garuda was pretty hard because of the one hit KO attacks and the undodgable one she uses.
The super version of her is more of a nightmare.
The lvl 47 dungeon Aurum Vale was the first dungeon to tax me as a healer.
It is literally a healers first nightmare.
The later dungeons really require teamwork.

In what way did it tax you as a healer? I'm asking because my highest lvl is a 31 CNJ. I'm still deciding on a main though so im not deadset on WHM.[QUOTE="RyviusARC"][QUOTE="Ballroompirate"]

When you queue up for things I guess you queue as a healer?Bard is a confused job. It queues as a DPS, it has a healer limit break. Its almost like it wants to be a support but theres no definitive support role in the game yet. It does have the ability to cast anything while moving and even facing the wrong way, so if you like mobility, its by far the best. IxX3xil3d0n3XxIHmm that is very interesting. I was hoping it would queue healer for many reasons, but I am excited about the class. I guess I will see what happens.

Um Bard is considered one of the most important spots in a grp right behind tank and healer. You must have Bard confused with Summoners cause they are the worst class in the game atm but it's not cause they suck or do little dmg, it's the fact there's a 30 dot cap on mobs which makes SMNs useless in large fate boss battles and raids if they don't remove the cap when raids are released.
Bard went from a full support/dps with CNJ being the 2nd class required to unlock it but that was removed a week or two before EA to dps/support.

That dungeon has bosses that use large aoe attacks that damage all players and you have to be quick on constantly healing them all while trying to keep yourself and the tank alive.

I love bard because they can give me MP recovery which my White Mage really needs in high lvl dungeons.
Getting decent metacritic, try sticking with it till higher level I guess.
I will say, I like the lack of grind. The fights are over fast for collect X and they do tend to be fairly varied. Still though, prefer the Guild Wars 2 model.

The AF sets are pretty amazing looking, though they wont last very long once you hit to lvl 50, you can also dye armor as long as it's not like the AF armor or part of a set.

It can go either way you have gear in quests and story or drops in dungeons. To start you change a lot but once you start getting dungeon gear the quest gear gets overlooked.
