I've got a ATI X1600XT, but I'll buy the new R600, probably two whenever it get's released. I just can't wait for that card, no matter if I have to upgrade my power supply.

It's better to get a high end graphics card to play pc games instead of your built in which comes with the unit. trust me, you'll never be able to play all the kick ass games that's out there. get the latest from nVidia but they're very expensive.

I use my GF6600GT 256Mb Pci-e, got it few years back and it has served me well. I also sometimes game with my old PC with R9000Pro 64Mb, it can run some decent games as well, like RON, W3, UT2K4 and AvP2.

There should had been a poll in this thread with options like 6series, 7series etc.

i got a ASUS 7950GT with 512Mb. Great Card. Runs Everything smooth and nice graphics. But i got a somewhat High end Rig eitherway.

Yup, that is what I run too. Great card.

X1950 CF here, and yep the X1900 series are the greatest. (for the 8800 users, just wait for the new ATI card to be revealed :) )

Got my rig last summer; it's currently running on dual 7600GTs.  I'd have to say that as of to date, Oblivion is the only game that really gives my computer an issue. With messing around a bit with the settings, most are set to medium-high...when everything is set to max, I only get around 20-30fps.

Other then that, I run most other games on max or close to max settings.

I'll upgrade everything once DX10 becomes more common.

I'm interested to see what people use when playing PC games. I don't have anything other than what it came with so it will be neat to see the variety.Rossuron

yes for my sli 8800 GTX I have a kilowatt PSU.. Lights dim when she comes on lol

Just upgraded from a 7600GT into 8800GTS 512 ( new model ). I feel like almost using a GTX with 256 less ram!

I got one nVidia GeForce 8600gt, probably not as nice as the 8800, but its really good compared to my old one. (Radeon x200 haha...) And it Greatly improved the graphics quality of the games i play (on my 2005 computer). :) i run Call of duty 4 on high settings 60fps hehe

My graphic card history :

1st Onboard :)

2nd. VODOO Banshee 64 mb probably thre best of its time ( i have overclocked it to hard & it BOOM )

3rt Nvidia RIVTA TNT 2 8 mb ... id didn't had money at that time & it sucked

4th Nvidia Geforce 2 very good card Max Paynbe 1 max :D

5th Nvidia Geforce 4 better

6th ATI RADEON 9800 XT the best / king card of its time

7th The current time ATI 2900 XT ... i'm so pleassed with it especially because of today's drivers it matches evan the ULTRA ^ i only payed 400$ & not 600$ & yeah i've got the black box ....that contains evan Day OF Defeat for no reasson !

Crysis DX10 ULTRA high setting 1280 x 1024 30-40 FPS's

Assassins Creed MAxxed out 1640 x 1400 45-54 FPS's

& all the unreal engine based game wirk at maxxed out with more than 50 FPS's !

I'm just so pleased for the moment & the next PC will be 4 years from now !
