Which game has the best graphics ??

Ok I'm posting some pics you decide which looks best.

Half Life 2

Doom3

FEAR

Far Cry

Quake 4

Doom 3 by a long shot. Half Life 2 had very blocky graphics, little curvature in the world.claytoma

Half Life 2, Doom 3 has some very low-res textures up close on walls and smaller objects.  Half Life 2 also has this same issue but only on walls and other large up close objects.

HL2s physics are awesome, Doom sucked on so many levels.

personally i think HL2. doom 3 is too dark to see the graphics. and even though i dont like the style of it. shaded pixelated and all. hl2 just looks better to me.stryker1234

I think that Doom 3 has better graphics, but most of time is difficult to apreciate that graphics, and in HL2 we have a brighter iluminatin and we can see more clear all the details. What do you think about FarCry ?

It is true that FEAR and other new games will have better graphics but most of us dont have the computer to play it well.

Doom 3 is much much better, on my friends computer there is NO JAGGIES! even when you are in the darkest areas, dont get me wrong though HL2 is some of the best ive ever seen.

Half Life 2 is a better game, but Doom 3 has better graphics.

Thats called Anti-Aliasing, half life has it too, it just isint turned on by default.

I just dont like the look of the Doom graphics engine.

Halflife 2 is much better looking in my opinion, not because it uses more advanced fx and stuff, because it truly does look better. Doom 3 was nice looking, but if you took away the shade and darkness, what you had underneath was doom2.

Doom3   .........................in graphics this should be the order......for fps'.....although there are others that are nicer looking than doom3....but since these are the games mentioned.

I like Half-Life 2's graphics a lot better, but the lighting aspects of Doom 3's graphics are incredible. The technical aspect is better in Doom 3, the artistic value in Half-Life 2.

There is no such thing as 'best' graphics.

 It's all about artistry. Pixels, shaders, AA != best graphics. Best graphics are those that fit to the game. 

 You might ask however, which game needs most CPU+GPU power to provide nice looking graphics.
