I don't know what's come of Capcom.  I started to seriosuly question them with Dead Rising and Lost Planet.  If they follow through on this I'll have doubts about future quality content coming from their camp.emitsu97

2nd Troll, I just hope they bring Lost Planet and Dead Rising, I still love the Sony exclusives but this definately hurts especially when 2 days ago they said it was exclusive still and coming autumn.

I bought both a 360 and a PS3 because of the exclusive games that each would offer. I know that PS3 will have it's fair share of eventual excusives in the near future, including new IP's like "Lair" and "Heavenly Sword". After these games start to come to the forefront, I think more and more people will finally start to feel a bit more justified in their PS3 purchase, or eventual PS3 purchase.

So, just relax people, it is not the end of the world, and we all should have seen this coming anyway, as Capcom has already been showng tremendous favor to the 360. Naturally so too, because it has the larger installed user base at the present. They are a company, and they just want to make money like anyone else. It is nothing personal. 

The PS3 will have plenty of exclusives later on down the road, as the system was built with the future in mind, and it is after all....only 4 months old, lol. In the end there will be killer excusives for both the 360 and the PS3, and also a horde of killer multi-plats that you can have on which ever system you choose. 

Come to think of it, I actually like the idea of having two different versions of the same game, as there is usually always special content for at least one of the versions that the other one simply will not have. So it is a win/win situation either way. This is not "BAD" news, lol. Just try to look down the road at the bigger picture, as there will be plenty of PS3 exclusive games.

VF5 was going to be an exclusive but no Microsoft has to have it to .

Mcicrsoft also wanted MGS4 but Kojima said NO !!!

You know, I really don't mind certain games going multiplatform (a good deal of the exclusives that I bought my PS3 for are developed or published by Sony)

But, developers really need to cut the crap.

Capcom has obviously been working on these versions for at least a few months now, since theyare both releasing the same date as the PS3 version.

Why not tell us when you started working on i?

Seriously, it seems like a new trend for developers to announce a game that they wanted to be multiplat, as a PS3-exclusive, just to build hype until they announce the true nature of the thing.

It is a disturbing trend, and while certain games weren't intended on being multiplatform all along, the developers should at least have the decency to tell the gamers about these version when they START development of subsequent versions.

This market seems to get worse and worse by the day, and if outright lying to the consumer about the available platforms, just to build hype for the game is what developers choose to do, then I see no reason for believing anyone about anything.

?????What the hell do you call games like OBLIVION and NINJA GAIDEN????? It is going both ways, man, and I am sure that there will be more former Xbox exclusives that will go multiplat and come to the PS3 as well. Bioshock may be one in the near future, and that is going to be one HELL of a game, my friend.

On another note, I hope that Capcom at least has the decency to not give us a half-assed version because of this.Xanog1

At first I was deeply upset because DMC4 was one game I could offer to justify the PS3 to people even though I have never played a DMC game nor did I plan to get DMC4. Now I am calm. The only thing that worries me is the fate of the next Onimusha title. If Onimusha goes then so do I.

That would only leave Tekken on the PS3 because those are the only games that appeal to me that are exclusive. The first Onimusha was ported, but if the next is then I'm not buying a PS3. I've been a decent fanboy (no pointless rants I offered explainations to my views) since 1997 when I first got my PS1, but now it is becoming difficult to justify being involved with Sony. I dislike Microsoft's business practices, but suddenly Sony is losing my respect. Not that everything has been lost but...

Lumines (My favorite puzzle game...started on PSP...ported)

Now only Tekken and Onimusha keep me with Sony. I like GT as well, but I could part with it. I don't race enough to buy a system for it. Those first two games are system sellers.

I'll wait for a more official statement from Capcom like a press event before I believe this garabage. Jesus....some of you guys are acting like you are losing the game entirely, when it is going to be released for the PS3 as well. The PS3 got games like Oblivion and Ninja Gaiden from Xbox, and there will be more, as it is clearly going both ways. Formerly exclusive Xbox titles are coming to the PS3, and vice versa. Xbox got plenty of games from PS2 last gen and did not make much of a difference, now did it? Same situation applies here, folks.

The exclusives WILL BE THERE, along with a killer selection of multi-plats....many of which were formerly Xbox exclusives. Sony is not the only one losing games here, so what is the big deal, really? I bought both systems for their exclusives, and just like last gen, there will be great excusives for each system mixed in with all of the killer multi-plat titles. 

In short....the PS3 will be fine, as it has vastly more long term potential than the 360 does anyway, so I am not too worried about DMC4 going multi-plat, lol. It is still going to be on PS3 anyway, so why this is even an issue with some people truly amazes me, lol.:P

i once was a complete Sony fan and an anti-xbox rebel, hating on the xbox like no 2moro. the 360 found about more than 20 reasons to get one instead of the freakin PS3. half the reasons are the list of better exclusives.

 PS3 is effortlessly losing the next-gen war. microsoft is doing everythin possible it can to strip sony of its exclusives one by one. sure the PS3 has final finatasy and MGS4, but the 360 beats those by a long shot.

 when i found out that DMC4 went multiplatform, i completely lost 80% faith for the PS3. that was the only game holding it up. this is really sad. i dont think the PS3 will win now, even with the $100 cut this year
