@zaryia: That poll doesn't prove anything. Polls said Hillary had a 92% to become president. How did that work out for you?

They could had this poll in an extremely left wing area. So without context it means nothing.

From your own link:

"But most Republicans say they agreed with his comments"

Thanks for the confirmation!

But now it's unacceptable to insult people?

Trump is the president, he's in a role and position that is much bigger than himself. When he speaks, he's not speaking just for himself, but for the nation and all of its citizens (or should be, at least). Not to say he shouldn't be able to hold his own opinions, but he should at least be beholden to a degree of decorum and respect in his conduct that's reflective of what he represents.

no more double standards, each and every one of those are in a role and position that is much bigger than themselves, they get no pass, they have no right to insult, harass, and threaten on a daily basis, then play victim when he fights back

Trump is far and above all partisan squabbles, or at least he should be. I don't advocate such behavior on any level, but Trump especially because he is not at the same level of who he engages with. Trump is the headpiece of the nation. He's the king, the rest are the other chess pieces. You believe they're all equal?

And please, stop playing the victim. Trump is the bully, and he's always been the bully. You can go ahead and pretend that he's some oh-so innocent decent guy that's the poor victim. He's been disrespectful, insulting, and venomous in his conduct since day 1 to anyone that stands in his way and disagrees with him. It's who he is, to his own testament in his admitted philosophy towards life, no less.

Then you and your ilk, pathetically and predictably, act all huffy and indignant when he gets some of his own medicine thrown back in his face, claiming that he has the right. Sorry, when you start shit, you don't have the final word, and Trump always starts shit.

Take your victimization and persecution complex and shove it where the sun don't shine.

because its not racist to tell someone to **** off

You're right, that's not what he said though.

Telling POC to "go back to where you came from" is racist. It always has been racist. Its been racist for even longer than its been antisemetic to tell Jewish people to throw themselves into ovens. The question here isn't whether or not Trump's statement was racisit. The question here is why don't the cuntservative trashpeople care, and deep inside everybody knows the answer. Its because they're just inherently bad people.

Partially stems from a deeper philosophical issue of conservative idiology, where if something doesn't affect an individual's personal life, then that person shouldn't care about the problem at all. A lot of conservatives don't take it that far and actually have some level of human decency and are capable of drawing the line somewhere. A lot of conservatives can't.

It's disappointing that in 2019, we have people that would think that way. Trump continues to set the bar lower and lower.

@PraetorianMan: thats moronic, so because they are POC.... its racist, but if its said to a white person its not racist? I love telling Europeans to **** off to thier country when they start bashing america. Dont like it here? Leave frenchie!!!

Also hollywood celebrities who bash america from thier 50 million dollar mansions in CA. think America is bad and so oppresive, then get off your yacht and gtfo. Go to canada like they said they would if trump won.

The message was clear, do you hate america? If so, why dont you go some where else?? Its a reasonable thing to say. Of coarse they wont leave, there are way too many benefits of being in America. They just enjoy complaining and pretending to be oppressed while reaping the benefits of being here in America.

All I am going to say is both sides need to stop this crap. The left spews just as much hate as the right does right now. Anyone who says otherwise is part of the problem.

The squad is just at fault for spewing hate as much as Donald Trump spews it. Both parties are full of a bunch of hypocrites! They don't really want to help this country, they just want to win and impeach anyone who they don't like.

The amount of made up crap from both sides is just amazing anymore. Hell the left will not even denounce Antifa, which is a hate group, and they are trying to make them martyrs for the attack on that detention center. Which is just as bad as anyone in the right supporting hate groups.

Both groups are nucking futs right now!

Um...Yeah....

...like, WTF? How is this not obvious?

Are you going to argue that telling a jewish vs a nonjewish person to "go burn in an oven" is NOT different? That telling a black vs a white person to "**** off and go pick some cotton" is NOT different? Are you just willfully blind of the history and society we live in? Or is that just a shtick?

@PraetorianMan: horrible examples one relates directly to the holocaust, the other to slavery, which ethnicity did trumps comment apply too???

It can be applied to anyone who trashes on America, doesnt have to be any ethnicity, its a universal phrase that can be used towards anyone.

Wait, so he didn't literally tell Omar to go back to her country? Interesting, it must have all been a dream! Also, what country were AOC, Pressley, and Talib supposed to go back to - out of curiosity? I guess the Federal Guidelines saying this exact type of phrase is discriminatory is also fake news.

Please stop trying to tell me, and a majority of Americans, that we don't understand the English language.

More than two-thirds of those aware of the controversy, 68%, call Trump's tweets offensive

Did you think the crowd was going to chant "Send her back" if he hadn't made those tweets on Sunday which were telling her (and the 3 others) to go back to her country?

Are you feeling okay? Revisionist history doesn't work if its only a few days old lol.

Ooooh the both sides fallacy.

I agree both sides do behave with hatred, and there is also terrorism on both side. You won't find me debating that fact. But, I don't agree that it's equal. All the data shows otherwise.

He doesn't need to refer to any ethnicity. The ethnicity is implied in the place he's telling them to return to.

Trump believes these people are anti-American in their sentiments, actions, whatever. Of what reason necessitates the phrasing "go back to where you came from"? Could he have not expressed his discontent and made his point without resorting to such a statement? Sure he could've, and we'd not be having this discussion. But he did, and I want to know why it was necessary instead of saying something like, "Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and hunker down and work on fixing the areas of your responsibility instead of sitting there complaining and criticizing?"

Why was it necessary to tell them to go back to where they came from, and what relevance did it have to get his point across? Would he have used it towards whites?

Never, it wouldn't have even crossed his mind. That should be ringing alarm bells in your head.

One thing I've learned recently is that for edgelords nothing is racist. I had actually one guy I know telling me that a skinhead that was involved (and convicted for) in the murdering of a person of colour was not actually racist, just a violent person. Which could be argued, generally speaking, if this kind of discourse wasn't basically a call for inaction. With Trump is exactly the same thing, with some people he could shit in their mouths and they would argue that in essence a toilet and their throats share so much in common that would be unfair to criticize Trump for that

Which is why most Americans said it was racist, offensive, and un-American.

Which is why actual hate groups loved it.

Which is why using such language is even seen as discriminatory by Federal Law.

Which is why people started chanting "Send her back" at his rally. That was due to his tweet, bro.

@zaryia: It wasn't racist if you actually, you know, read it all. Shouldn't be difficult?

Here, I'll tell you again. he said go back, fix those torn ass countries (although this only applies to one of them...Trump lol), come BACK (never heard a racist to tell someone they hate to come back) and tell us how you did it.

There ya go, you're welcome.

I've read the tweet.

It was racist. He still told 4 American Citizen minorities to go back to their country from were they came from. That is literally racist. Hence,

Which is why most Americans said it was racist, offensive, and un-American.

More than two-thirds of those aware of the controversy, 68%, call Trump's tweets offensive.

Two-thirds of those surveyed, 65%, say that telling minority Americans to "go back where they came from" is a racist statement.

polls don't gauge public opinion, they guide it, because there are a lot of people out there, so stupid, so gullible, that if a poll tells them most people believe the sky is yellow, the next day they'll be out there telling everyone the sky is yellow, and since a poll told them most believe believe it to be true then by golly, they'll believe it as well

learn to think for yourself kid. you cant even get half of gamespot to agree with you, and thats a fairly diverse representation, more so than those ABC polled if they actually polled anybody at all

Yeah, it's not like the birther stuff was racist. He was just concerned Obama wasn't a citizen!

Trump is gutter trash. I don't like a number of his policies. Stop spouting this shit and lying about me to try and bolster your point. It's not racist. If it is, please point me to any racist person telling people they hate to come back and teach them. Please do!

Telling minority individuals to go back where they came from is, was, and always will be racist. Being an apologist for racism seems to indicate shared feelings though.

If Trump said go back where you came from and stopped there, I'd agree with you. Again, for the millionth time, he said go back, fix those places (again, this only applies to one of them because lolTrump), come back and tell us how they did it.

Still racist. Apologize all you want. PS three were born in the US. So I guess he's saying the US government needs fixed. Agreed. Starting with a new president. The fourth is naturalized and came over as a child. Again.…….he's slagging off the US and is too stupid to know it.

honest question.. how old are you?

Old enough not to know you couldn't refute the polls with any valid citation, and instead used a ludicrous conspiracy theory.

@LJS9502_basic: Yea I'll gladly be part of the problem then. The thing is I didn't even really love trump. But he was a necessary evil to take on the ridiculously politically correct left. He's like throwing a turd in the punchbowl at a party with a bunch of people you don't like. So the more he does this and the more it offends people like you the happier it makes me.

agreed, he certainly wasnt my choice in 2016, and may not be my choice in 2020 with some of his actions and comments against guns.. but he really does expose the hate and intolerance of the left which is entertaining to say the least

So logically you'll vote for the party with even more hate and racial/religious intolerance?

MAKES SENSE!

Bolded: ya, I addressed that. Trump is dumb lol.

Not apologizing for anything. Not racist.

@zaryia: The party of hate and intolerance? Lol that's on the left and has been for years.

You don't want millions of refugees from a war torn country coming into yours? Then you're a racist.

Don't believe white privilege exist? You're a Nazi

Don't believe in 127+ genders? You're a homophobe

That's essentially how the left choose to deal with discussion over the past decade. Simply dehumanize those they disagree with and surround themselves in an echo chamber. So I'll gladly take whatever opposes that.

lol it doesn't magically cease to be racist because because you expanded upon your thought. The president told minority individuals go back to "their" countries and fix them on the grounds that they are "from them." It's as simple as that.

It would be like if I told a black guy to go pick cotton based on him being black, but then clarify that he should willingly do so, at a living wage, as a career stepping stone in agriculture. It isn't any less shitty or racist because of the context.

Yes. Facts don't care about your feelings.

https://www.splcenter.org/sites/default/files/intelligence_report_166.pdf

https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/01/homegrown-terrorists-2018-were-almost-all-right-wing/581284/

Thinking the left is too hateful and intolerant and voting for the right due to this is pretty dumb shit. The home of literally KKK, Neo-Naziz, and White Supremacists - and nearly all domestic terrorism in recent years. Also most hate crimes I believe.

That's essentially how the left choose to deal with discussion over the past decade. Simply dehumanize those they disagree with and surround themselves in an echo chamber. So I'll gladly take whatever opposes that.

I'm pretty sure a bunch of twitter snowflakes aren't as bad as the groups and crimes I just listed.

https://www.brennancenter.org/publication/fighting-far-right-violence-and-hate-crimes

Analogy: Kind of like complaining about one PC gaming having low FPS on a super-rig due to a bug, and then going out and buying a PS4 (lol) in reponse.

@zaryia: So you basically just said that far right extremists represent the main stream right.

LOL!

Honestly the fact you base your entire political beliefs off the actions of the select few says alot.

The difference is my statements are true of the main stream left.

Yes... facts don't care about your feelings.

And your analogy better describes you. Making a life decision based off a few extreme examples.

You have a better chance of being killed by an animal in the US then a far right terrorist attack.

Lol talk about fear mongering.

Oh, you were talking about political disagreement? I thought we were talking about actual hatred and racial interolance. The right has a monopoly on those.

Most hate groups and hate crimes are on the right. Nearly all political terrorism is from the right. You haven't refuted those factual links I gave. Facts don't care about your feelings.

So anyone who votes for Trump because they think the left is being too hateful is just being stupid. Trump is one of the most hateful politician in modern history being part of the most hateful party.

P.S. When is the last time a Democrat Rally became like a KKK rally like Trump's did this week?
