Tony Romo or Jay Cutler?
^^Trying to help friend out. Even after Romo fell apart, I think I'd still take him over Cutler.

Also Steelers or Eagles D/ST? Friend got -3 points for Steelers but I'm trying to help convince him they'll rebound this week.

.I also had the Steelers D last week... this week the Steelers have the Seahawks, which should be great because the Seahawks struggled against the 49ers. The Eagles on the other hand have the Falcons, which can be a great offensive team.

Definitley start the Steeler DST they are playing the Seahawks who is led by Tavaris Jackson(:o) and Marshawn Lynch. Sydney Rice is probably out too.

Eagles goin against Atlanta not too good because Eagles couldnt stop the run against steven jackson. Michael Turner might light them up if they dont fix the issue.

And go with Romo he has way more weapons (Austin, Witten, Bryant) Felix Jones is'nt an every down bak as much as Cowboys want it that way, so they will throw the ball alot.

Roddy White is a elite fantasy reciever until he proves otherwise. I would start him even if he was against Revis Island.... unless I had other options.

He should be, I'm pretty sure that it was just cramps that was effecting him. Nothing serious, but keep your eye on the injury report to be safe and try to acquire a back-up option in case.

Michael Turner running rampant on the weak Eagles run D, meaning a good play action fake will get White open easily.

Yea, good point. Roddy White is gonna be Ryans go to guy but he also has new competition with Julio Jones and the fading Tony Gonzalez.

The Rams tried to use the play action, Nnamdi doesn't bite. If I knew for sure Asante would be on him I would start him... but I don't want to start Roddy and him end up on Planet Nnamdi. Then again... I don't really have much of a choice other then to start him.

Who do you have in your bench?

Check out free agency, Jordy Nelson would be a good pick-up. Driver is fading its gonna be Jennings, Nelson, and Finley running the offense.

Or even Nate Burleson, but I still dont see starting either atop of Roddy White personally.

Yeah, I'm using Nelson and Rodgers in two leagues, Jennings and Starks in one, and Finley and the Packers D in all three. Driver's headed to the hall of fame and I love him, but God bless him, he sucks now. He really should think about retiring.

Do you guys think I should play DeAngelo Williams against the Packers rushing defense? I mean he's usually pretty good but he had an off-day this weekend, though I think that had more to do with Newton being so freakishly pass happy. If you guys don't think that's a good matchup, I'm also hoping to drop Daniel Thomas for Darren Sproles, whom I'm surprised no one picked up...

I have great depth at the RB position... my WRs are weak. I have Roddy/DeSean/Lee Evans (basically the only person in the Ravens offense not to score >_>) and Sidney Rice...

I really having trouble on commiting on who to start as my flex option. The ones in bold is my starters, any opinions on who all to start as my final lineup?

RB

  • Maurice Jones-Drew
  • Rashard Mendenhall
  • Jahvid Best
  • Shonne Greene
  • Tim Hightower

WR

  • Mike Wallace
  • Mike Williams (TB)
  • Kenny Britt
  • Anquan Boldin
  • Plaxico Burress

Yeaa.... I'd be less worried about Roddy White and more worried about Lee Evans. I dont see Flacco as a Gunslinger.

I think they will just threaten with Lee to take the top off defenses to get the slots and mid range passing game goin and don't forget about the run game.

Go with Hightower. I'm predicting big things out of him this season. That and he ran for 75 yards and a TD and caught for 25 this weekend, though TBH it was the Giants depleted defense... >_>

Thats a real tough call, but i would go with it. Packers defense are gonna put the fear of god in Cam Newton and I think they will rely on Williams to carry alot.

Just my opinion, im starting him in one of my teams. Also, I dont have another decent RB to fall back on, so.....yea...:?

More touches=More yds....hopefully

I was honestly considering the final spot between Boldin and Britt.

Britt is the big play weapon that had a monster opener and a breakout season last year.

And Boldin almost caught 2 TD's against the steelers but he was called on Off. Pass. Int.

My theory was that with Mason and Heap gone Boldin is the only real stable option for Flacco

Ugh... I got a decision to make in my other league. I want Sproles in that one too. However, I'm stacked in the running back position. I have Ray Rice and LeSean McCoy as starters, James Starks as W/R/T, and BenJarvis Green-Ellis on the bench. I was going to drop Santana Moss for him, but the game he had has me thinking about Pierre Garcon instead. I think he might be useless without Manning. That's the same league I'm dropping Vinatieri for Nick Folk in.

I win the award for a stacked backfield. Chris Johnson, Ray Rice, Frank Gore and Jahvid Best. No trades. And I still have Roddy White and DeSean Jackson.

looks like a 4 man league  but it's possible if the draft happened before the season because Chris Johnson didn't sign his contract yet and slipped (I got him in the second round in the gamespot league).

Speaking of Chris Johnson, how terrible was he on Week 1.

I knew he wasn't going to put squat up after just returning to camp days beffore the game.

Yea, I would drop Garcon too. Moss is the #1 reciever in Redskins and will get more looks. Garcon has to compete with Wayne, Clark, and Collie.

Picked up Ben Tate with hopes of Foster being out for another week, but it seems that Foster is ready to go on Sunday.

Pick-up Cadillac Williams if anyone needs a No.2 RB, with Steven Jackson out he is gonna be the guy in St. Loius.

I am really considering starting Kellen Winslow over Dallas Clark. It's not the same when you dont have Manning throwing to you.

Yeah, the reason I drafted Garcon in the first place was because he kept pissing me off by getting looks over Wayne. However, Manning being gone for God knows how long rendered Garcon moot.

Or

Picked up Ben Tate with hopes of Foster being out for another week, but it seems that Foster is ready to go on Sunday.

Pick-up Cadillac Williams if anyone needs a No.2 RB, with Steven Jackson out he is gonna be the guy in St. Loius.

I dropped him recently. :( But I'm happy with Sproles. Anyway, who's starting for the Panthers? Williams or Stewart? Also, I dropped Folk for Kasay because I didn't like the idea of both my defense and my kicker having the same bye week, especially in the league where I can't risk dropping anybody and having them picked up by someone else. If I have to lose a few points due to a bye then so be it. Hopefully my tandem of Rice and McCoy can pick up the slack. :D

Who would you start this week?

Matthew Stafford Vs. KC Chiefs (...that made Fitzpatrick look like Tom Brady)

Or

Philip Rivers Vs. NE Patriots (....that made Chad Henne look like....Tom Brady?)

The NE pass D, looks bad... but the Chiefs just looked down right atrocious. The Chiefs also lost Eric Berry, who is a big part of their pass D.

I watched the Patriots game but didn't watch the Chiefs game. I did see the highlights that just wouldn't stop against the Chiefs.

And yea, I forgot ofabout Eric Berry their best safety. I already see Stafford as an elite QB he just needs to stay healthy so he can prove it to the masses.

Williams handles the bulk of the carries and Stewart chimes in from time to time.

The Packers D was ranked 2nd highest in sacks. The Panthers Offensive line is pretty solid so it could be a big day for Williams.

Okay. So out of that, I have Hightower starting. Who should be number two: Williams or Sproles? Out of those two, who would you put as W/R/T: Either one or Plaxico? If it helps, I have Nelson, Wayne and Finley also starting. with Keller on the bench. Also, if Sidney Rice comes back that might further complicate it.

EDIT: Keep in mind, I lost in this week by a blow out, though in truth, it wasn't really a blowout until MNF.
