Into overtime, too. If Spurs let this opportunity go, damn. Uh, don't.

(Not that it even matters to me. I don't really care between Spurs and Grizzlies, but I have been hoping Grizzlies pull out the series win.)

Denver has no chance tonight. Look at the damn free throws! OKC shot 35 free throws while Denver only has 10! Are you kidding me!? Denver is playing 5 on 8 basketball! Those refs at OKC, sheesh!

OKC now just needs to wait for their next victim to advance to the WCF.

Yup. This and game 1 were just irritating to watch as a Nuggets fan. I knew the Nugs weren't as good as OKC, but come on... its already hard enough to beat a great team with probably the future best player in the league on the other team.

Celtics in 6. I love my Heat, but that 76ers series was way too much of a struggle. Celtics are the better team I think.

yokofox33

I thought fans believed in their teams

This game was so atrocious and painful to sit through but now its over and its time to go to the second round, never bring baggage from the previous round.

Nevertheless, anyone also feel that NBA tv is the worst sounding sports channel ever? I mean, the Spurs hit two of the most fortuious shots and the announcers and the stadium both felt dead, which I know it wasn't.

Sorry. The Celtics are better. If the Heat win I will gladly eat crow and look like a fool. I want to look like a fool.

Agreed. OKC played well, but they definitely got a bit of help.

That unbelievable Spurs win could be the turnaround of the series. I know the Grizzlies have a chance close it out on their own court, but that ending completely shifted the momentum. I've got a feeling they'll be back in SA for game 7. You can't give a team like the Spurs another chance like that.

I acutally think the Heat will beat Boston in 7 games. As good as Boston looked in round 1, they played a team with a lot of injuries and the Knicks play no defense anyway.

Is there a specific reason why? The Lakers are large enough, as long as everyone's healthy, to keep them in check, and you have enough talent from behind the three-point line. Or is it you just hate looking at Bron-Bron? :P

Releveant here, so......Link!

Mr. Stern wants players to be able to hit the ball off while it's still on the rim, aka goal tending.

I'm so sick and tired of the Miami cHeat, and can't stand Lebron James.. Yes I am a Lakers fan, yes my favorite player is Kobe, and I know LBJ and Kevin Durant and a few other big name players are a bit better than him now, Kobe's getting old and the injuries aren't helping (but he did show some Number 8 Afro magic Tuesday), but they lack the willpower and competition Kobe always had. MJ said it himself, Kobe is better than Lebron. Kobe doesn't care in what team James is, as long as he wins. That's what I like to see in a player, and Kobe chooses to play AGAINST the best, not WITH the best. Mad respects for D. Wade, though. I've always liked him, great player, and I have nothing against Chris Bosh, but everytime I see him it's like I'm watching Jurassic Park. I'm sorry but he looks just like a Raptor (lol)

You know it. Funny seeing the crowds and their KOBE SUCKS chants only to have the Lakers win by a pretty big number (Can't even remember if it was 20 or 18) Now, about the semifinals, I'll say Mavs will win tonight and move on against the Lakers. Win for Lakers in 6, MAYBE 5. Too bad for Orlando, let's see how Hawks fare up against Rose and the Bulls.

Great to see LA close this out, I hope Portland wins so LA can have a little rest before going on. Also after how much hate the Hawks get, it's nice to see them win a series. I don't think they will beat the Bulls, I would say Bulls in 5 or 6 there. Between Boston and Miami I say Boston because they are a deeper team, Boston @ Chicago in the East Finals with Boston in 6 or 7. Hope I am wrong, don't want Boston to move on again, would rather have a Bulls vs Heat series. Haven't made up my mind for the west, still think the Lakers get the the Conf Finals, just not sure against who. Either OKC or San Antonio. Want to see if the Spurs win or not, hope not.

It doesn't really matter if the Mavs or Blazers win, the Lakers still will open up on Monday... It's not like they get an extra days rest. Also, ANDREW BYNUM:)

Hoped the Blazers would have lasted longer but they still need a few key pieces on their roster. So the Mavs move on and I get to hear Mark Cuban complain that the opposing team is getting all the calls. yeah. At least the East feels equally important this year with more then just the Celtics having a legit shot to win it all. That and there is plenty of bad blood between teams right now so it makes it that much more interesting. Still hoping for a Lakers vs Bulls championship series, but we shall see what happens.

The Bulls can't stop Howard and if the Magic get their 3-pointers going the Bulls would be in a lot of trouble. I'm a lot more optimistic vs. the Hawks.

Not to mention Rose driving the lane against Howard is scary as a Bulls fan. I think he's been hurt twice trying to do that.

The spurs are killing me. Never been so frustrated watching a playoff series, this includes last year. They win tonight its over. Reminds me of that NO series a few years back.

Boston will own the Heat in 6.

Lakers will own Mavs in 5.

Bulls over Hawks in 7.

Thunder over Mem in 6 or SA over OKC in 7. YEAH!

If I remember right, No_Hablo_Ingles actually lives in Atlanta. So that's actually legit I guess. He just never cheered before because, well it's the Hawks. You know their history. On the other hand, this is textbook hopping on the bandwagon (despite him living in the area) considering they've finally advanced. Plus it gives him added incentive to cheer against the Bulls.
