Because LA has a football team? You are hilarious.
I don't really even care about any sport besides basketball anyway.

Offensively Pau was better at this point but they are equal in just about everything else.No_Hablo_Ingles
Haven't seen much of Marc Gasol, but right now his offenseive game is looking pretty good. Looks like he can hit the mid range shot, jump hook.....etc. He certanily has improved. Given his defense, toughness, added bulk and improving offense he may surpass Pau.
Memphis is giving OKC all they can handle in game 1.

Absolutely.
I am getting to see a lot of Westbrook in these playoffs and I must say that a lot of his praise is way overblown. He shoots so many contested shots.white_sox
...Interestingly enough you could make those same points about Derrick Rose.

i believe he will soon (2 years) Great job MemphisWow at memphis, did not expect this.ChuteboxYeah. Just saw the score, and I said, "Wow!" At OKC too!
I just point out the people who out themselves. Phillies, Eagles, and Lakers? Bandwagon. When is the last time Eagles won that makes him a band wagon fan? I know he's not, but I'm just curious. The Eagles didn't have to win, but you can still be looked at as a bandwagon fan. If you're from the area or close to it, sure that's no problem, you can be a fan of that team. If you're from the LA area and you hop on the Philly bandwagon which is all the way across the country, you're a bandwagon fan, whether they win or not.[QUOTE="Spellingiscool"][QUOTE="-Halftime-"] Dude only posts to troll people and act like he knows people's lives, it's funny. Paul Pierce was ejected I read. What happened?

You know the usual, being a punk *** and finally getting called on it.
I fully expect the Celtics to come out next game ready to murder the Heat. I hope the Heat prepare themselves for a brawl.

Dude its okay to give the Heat a little credit.

Yeah. D-Wade played his heart out and it showed today. And LeBron is probably the best passer in the NBA since Magic![QUOTE="yokofox33"]

Okay. They played really well today. Helped a bit by the refs, but they certainly played some good D and James Jones was huge off the bench.
I think he cussed at Wade leading to the second. I remember the game being 90-82 with 4 minutes or so. If Pierce was in the game, I think he could have provided some help for sure.I don't understand why Paul got that second technical. He didn't do anything. Why do refs always insist on making deciding factors in games? Not saying Celtics would have won, but that second was BS.

If you're from the LA area and you hop on the Philly bandwagon which is all the way across the country, you're a bandwagon fan, whether they win or not. What stupid logic. I know plenty of people in towns that are bandwagoners, they abandon their teams when they're bad and then they were a fan the whole time when they're good. P.S. . When I stayed in Pittsburgh for a while, the Penguins were terrible. The team almost got sold. No one went to the games.Crosby and Malkin show up, new arena, tons of fans, jerseys everywhere. Are you really gonna say these people are real fans?[QUOTE="Chutebox"]

So by your "logic", I'm a bandwagon fan of the Redskins since I live in California? Nevermind that I've been a fan for more than twenty years, but because I don't live near DC? Ya dude, get otta here lol It's pretty damn apparent you don't even know what bandwagon means.[QUOTE="Chutebox"]

So I'm a Trail Blazers fan even though I live in Seattle. I must be a bandwagoner. I say you can be a fan of any team you want, as long as you stick with them. Unless it is totally blatent (I know a kid from around here who likes the Colts, Red Sox, and Celtics) I never label someone bandwagon if they like teams outside of their cities.[QUOTE="Chutebox"]

Pierce let emotions get to him and got in a miami player face (literally walked up and had his cheek on the other guys cheek and was trash talking). Other was he trying to set a screen as d-wade was running behind Allen. Wade Ran through the screen and was called for the foul. He started to trash talk while the ref was literally right there. Ref stated later he started throwing profanity so threw another tech at both players. Everything was double techs on Miami and boston but Pierce was in both instances so was ejected.
Lol at celtic fans for being mad at paul's ejection. If he started cussing how is that not a technical? Even so I can see why paul was mad...wade ran into him kinda hard. I think he overreacted to the jones foul. He did the pumpfake once he caught him in the air...he got what he wanted, freethrows. Looked like jones just used paul's shoulders to land. Well I'm glad the heat won but not celebrating anything...oh and lol at NBATV Hosts...they kept saying boston was rusty from week off. Everyone secretly hates miami.wildcat2000You're not allowed to curse in basketball? :?

Yeah if players got T'ed up every time they cussed there would be like 3 guys left in the league.
I agree with his other point though - if Boston won the game it would've been because they were well-rested, but since Boston lost it's because they were rusty. Sports commentators always use the time off reason both ways.

Ya, I don't give two **** about the excuses. Boston lost and that's it.To all who asked if they were bandwagon fans. California to Washington D.C.? Yes that is jumping on a bandwagon, although that bandwagon may only have 3 wheels and doesn't really run anymore). Seattle to Portland(you get a pass since the Sonics ditched their fans) No bandwagon here. Washington to Boston and New Jersey? Yes you're a bandwagon fan.
@yokofox- No you're not a bandwagon fan. You live in the area.
@ Halftime- There are plenty of frontrunner fans like that. There are also plenty of real fans who don't want to go to games to watch their teams get blown out.
Thank you all for playing the bandwagon sweepstakes.

I cheer. I fist pumped when James Jones kept nailing 3s, I hollered when Wade was clutch the whole game. I'm a fan, but I've watched this team the whole year. I know they lose focus easily and let teams back in games. They almost let the Cs back in the game, but they kept their composure, and I applaud them for that.
I still think the Celtics are the better team, but Miami can still beat them through pure talent and athleticism. I hope that's the case.

The Spurs were also a better team than the Grizzles...and the 07 Mavs were also abetter team than the 8th seed warriors that beat them.
In the playoffs its all about matchups and who comes to play. I know the Heat can beat the Celtics if they play competitively and don't play isolation ball.
And they didn't almost do anything, the C's went on a run; thats what teams do...go on runs. They brought it to within 7 with like 3 minutes left, the Heat still had control. Watch most playoffs games, the game can be dominated by one teammost of thegame and then after 5 mins the team that looked defeated has a 3 point lead.
I just hate people that scrutinize the Heat for EVERYTHING. Even if they blow a team out, "Well, they brought it down to 15 points in the 4th quarter!" What ever happened to "A win is a win?"
And since when does cheering on ateam on some plays define a fan?
If thats the case then I must be a grizzly fan, cause I'm urging them to win since I like underdogs.
Oh and to make this clear I'm not a grizzly fan at all and the only time I saw the team play was against the Heat and in this year's playoffs. :o
*sigh*
I cheer the whole game. I'm a nervous nelly the entire game though because I know the Heat is notorious for blowing big leads. There's nothing wrong with getting nervous when a team like the Celtics starts to pull closer and closer. But like I said, the Heat held them off and won. That's all that matters. I wasn't hoping they'd blow the lead so I could complain about it.
And yes, I'm well aware that the "better" team can lose in a 7-game series. Just because I think the Celtics are a better team doesn't mean I think (or hope) the Heat will lose. I think the Celtics should win this series, but Miami can definitely beat them. And I hope they do.
