Anyone else noticed how every so-called expert and analyst you ever hear on TV or read anywhere always change their pick as far as championship favorites are concerned?
Every single expert wrote off the Heat a few weeks ago and about 4-5 times during the season during rough stretches and when they got or get on a roll: "Well they're playing so great. They will likely win it all." Same goes for the Lakers, the Celtics, the Spurs, etc. I mean, they're called "experts" or "analysts", can't any of them go beyond a bad stretch to analyze the objective chances of a team come playoffs time? A lot of them make the same mistakes over and over again, writing off a team because of a bad losing streak or jumping on the Lakers' or Celtics' (or whoever's) bandwagon because they put together a good streak of wins.
It's mind-boggling, most of them, if not all of them, have lost all credibility for me, jumping over from team to team depending who's the best. Hell, if they're as "experts" as they pretend they are, they should know that a few bad losses don't make you a bad team and a few quality wins don't make you a favorite to win it all. They should know that a team like the Spurs, Lakers, Celtics and even the Bulls, Heat, OKC or Dallas can't be written off one day and be called a favorite the next day. Act like real professionals and don't go "Oh the Bulls are having trouble against the Pacers, they're definitely not winning it all". How dumb is that analysis? Seriously. It pisses me off. I wouldn't write off a favorite unless they're down 3-0 and down by 34 points in the 4th quarter of game 4.

hes sick or something, I cant remember what it is exactly he has. Hes still rocking it tonight though, despite that.To the Laker fans. I've been watching this series half heartedly but i've seen enough. Can somebody tell me what in the world has happened to pau gasol? Forget playing scared, he looks absolutely petrified. He's not hurt is he?

Ugh the Magic are throwing this series away, they have too much talent to be down 1-2
Also is Howard really taking a shot with a forearm at that hawks player after that whistle or was it just reaction?
Anyway, looks like J-Rich and that hawks player are going to be suspended a game.
and freakin Crawford is damn lucky for that BS shot banking in at the end.
and on another note I think Derrick Rose is the difference between sweeping the Pacers or getting swept by the Pacers.
Zaza Pachulia is such a *****, it's funny. I would've cracked him if I was J-Rich.-Halftime-His constant shaking of the head in your face would get irritating quickly, as if that's his only "intimidation" move. I need to thank Dwight for his "accidental" elbow. :D
Agreed. OKC is awesome to watch because of Westbrook. His skills are insane.I'd say every team looks beatable in this postseason, but OKC looks really good.

Ya i would say that Westbrook is more important to the Thunder than Durant is.
I love biased media.
"Howard's arm came down near Pachulia's head following a shot, and Pachulia went after the Magic center, only to run into Richardson first. Pachulia then proceeded to get in Richardson's face, exchanging barbs and making contact with the Orlando swingman's head three times."
[QUOTE="gamefan67"]I love how guy deliberately elbowed Rose after that dunk. -__- gotta love play off basketball.JML897
Yeah the Pacers know they're a lot worse than the Bulls so they've been doing that thuggish stuff all series (especially Foster and Hansbrough)
This is the first one I've actually really noticed, maybe because it was just in plain sight.[QUOTE="gamefan67"]I love how guy deliberately elbowed Rose after that dunk. -__- gotta love play off basketball.JML897

Oh please. That is a lame excuse. It IS playoff basketball.
You are very, very, very lucky, Indiana.
Jesus.

I wouldn't say so. Building an enormous lead on the Bulls isn't luck. Surviving the 4th Qtr rally maybe is luck tho.

Still they never had lead as big as they did today. Bulls put themselves in too big of a hole to climb out of.

I posted that when the game was really close and the Bulls were up in the series 3-0. It wasn't an "excuse".
The Bulls are a lot better than the Pacers and the Pacers are using really physical play to try to even things up (like NHI said, the Jordan rules). I don't see how you can debate that.

It's the playoffs! What do you expect from a team down 3-0? To just lay down and have the Bulls walk over them?
Agreed, a wonderful time at the Rose Garden the way that ended. Also WOW at this Mavs/Blazers game. Nice to see Roy reemerging as a big time performer
