You have to give the Knicks some credit. They came out ready to play and they were inspired. Miami looked awful.
Although I love Knicks pests proclaiming Melo killed Lebron last night... dude scored 30 points on 28 shots. That's horrible. The Knicks hit their 3s last night. That was the biggest difference.

I'm not trying to take anything away from the Knicks since they did go out and get that win, but I'm just calling it like I see it. The Heat weren't playing with the same urgency they had in their opening game. They were getting blown by their opponent on the perimeter which opened up the three point game for NY. It's been a while since I've seen the Heat play such terrible perimeter and help defense.
Miami was put in an awkward position coming into an area that was struggling. I couldn't see it any other way, the Heat had to give this game.
Haters just can't give credit when due.:x You play to win the game. (Herm Edwards voice)Miami has a weak mentality if they came in to throw away the game because they felt sorry. Im sure the Raptors threw away the Brooklyn game too.
"Hating" on the Knicks is like hating on a new born baby with no sense of direction. Like I said, I don't really care that the Heat lost, since it was the rightful thing to do. Makes no sense beating down on a city that was feeling not very hopeful to begin with. D-Wade tweeted before the game that they probably shouldn't be playing an NBA game (using thousands of dollars in energy) when over a million people are still without power. A team that has a weak mentality would probably punch a fire extinguisher after a lose or fail to establish chemistry even after an entire year.
Anyway, nice 4-point play by Allen to put us in a position to beat the Nuggets. Spo has actually gotten pretty good at drawing up plays.
