Yay, Leafs won!:D Of course Kessel put that in jeopardy.

Boston vs Dallas. 3 Fights ... 2 Goals and a pulled goalie all in under 2 minutes. Boston won 6-3

I feel bad to. The All-Star game has seemed to spark him, but he can't finish. So glad Reimer got the shutout tonight! (:
Felt bad for Kessel though, you can tell he's been wanting that goal for a looooong time.

Tim Brent had a HUGE game tonight. Big on the PK, especially the 5-3. So many shot blocks in a row. Guy from my hometown boy getting it done8)
DiPietro-Johnson fight:lol: 1 punch, that's all it took.
DP should not be fighting....the guy was born injured! Sabres announce sale to Terry Pegula. Could be very interesting to see how things will go in Sabreland And DP is out 4-6 weeks with facial fractures...and a bum knee with that collision with Cooke http://proxy.espn.go.com/blog/nhl/post/_/id/4335/rick-dipietro-out-4-6-weeks-after-goalie-fightGustavsson was sent down today, and will be there for 2 weeks. I hope it helps, he has the potential. If he plays really bad, and Reimer wins Saturday, and played just like he has for the 2 weeks...could 'The Monster' be on his was out? Doubt it, but who knows what Burke is doing.

Danial Paille suspended 4 games for his hit on the Stars' Raymond Sawada.

Paille isn't really a dirty player...guess it was too close to being a blindside resulting in his 4 game banGustavsson was sent down today, and will be there for 2 weeks. Malkin torn ACL and MCL... probably done for year! Ouch!ohjtbehaaaveLol, that sucks. Reimer is starting tonight. I'm feeling good about it!
When they play in Buffalo anyways. Haven't won there in 7 games now. ):Well...that game didn't go as expected. I forgot Toronto sucks against Buffalo.

Also, the Devils are starting to pick it up it seems. I don't think they will make the playoffs, but they have been doing well lately. And obviously I am still happy the Sens keep losing. ^___^

Sens are gonna lose again tonight against Vancouver! And i think that would be the only time I would cheer for the Canucks, but you guys admittedly have bragging rights for league leaders right now, so I can't say much. ):Same. Lupul has never panned out and met expeectations, but Gardiner has a lot of upside, but needs some work. He's an excellent skater, but okay offensively. Burke drafted him too, so we'll see.Leafs trade Beauchemin back to Anaheim in exchange for Joffery Lupul and a defensive prospect
I don't know what to think of this just yet.gameeer1
Gustavsson leaves AHL game with elevated heart beat.
This really sucks. I think he should take time off, because this keeps happening.
Tough loss for TorontoMkavanaugh77Yes, Reimer saved that game for us, saved that point for us, again. Really shouldn't of been close. But they got one bad bounce or great deflection go in, and then a goal where he could of stopped if he came out more, or the D could of attacked him instead of waving their sticks around. Only 7 out now, but could of been 6:(
Mike Fisher traded to Nashville, where his wife Carrie Underwood lives/works...interesting. I wonder if the GM told him the Preds were interested and Fisher told them that it was a desired location..or he told them first, and they tried to work something out.

CRAZY game on Long Island tonight. I only saw the tail end of it because I was watching the Sharks and Devils game. I still need to check out highlights later, but the Islanders won 9-3 and Howie Rose said a new Islander record for PIM was set haha. The Penguins were down to 6 skaters at the end of the game; I've never seen a bench so empty. XD
Yup, absolute insanity between the Islanders and Pens: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puMana_bq1o Bylsma (yeah, the coach) has been suspended, pending a hearing. The attack on Talbot from behind deserves a HUGE penalty, but it'll likely get lost in all the rest of the stuff.
Penalties List
That was nuts. It would've been really interesting if Matt Cooke wasn't suspendedCRAZY game on Long Island tonight. I only saw the tail end of it because I was watching the Sharks and Devils game. Well the Avs lost their 7th straight, looking all around bad right now. Young + rash of injuries is not a good formula for winning. They are not out of it, but it's going to take a very strong rest of February and March to make any sort of a run at a playoff spot. Goaltending has been terrible, but the defense isn't any better. I really hope they don't trade anyone young at the trade deadline, because I believe this team can be a real contender in a few years as they gain experience and add a few pieces (ie. definitely need to find a consistent goaltender). hockey73Would you guys be interested in JS Giguere?

I hope not, if they make any trades for a goalie, hopefully it's a long term one, that's already proven to be consistent.
Devils really taking it upon themselves to make the season as interesting as possible at this point it seems. If anything, maybe a strong finish will convince Parise to stay, regardless of a playoff spot or not (they are still mathematically in it, just very, very, very unlikely...)
Yah I saw they were 8-1-1 in the past 10 games, this is the team I expected to see at the start of the year.Devils really taking it upon themselves to make the season as interesting as possible at this point it seems.
