[QUOTE="Fingertrap"]Who saw Rush Hours 3 ? I saw it this afternoon and found it good. Chris Tucker is hilarious and Jackie Chan is as good as ever :DFingertrap

Awww, Rush Hour reminds me of when I was little. I loved those movies!! Maybe I'll see the third one just for the nostalgia factor. :P

I loved Rush hour 1 and 2 and it took years for the third to be made, 5 years ? I was waiting and waiting and now, one of my dreams came true, I finally saw the third :P

Yea I know! I remember at the end of the bloopers in Rush Hour 2, they talk about a Rush Hour 3. And I remember being so excited for it! Then I forgo about it. Now I remember again. :P

I want to see it, but I probably won't end up going.

Yeah, I remember about the bloopers, Chris Tucker threw someone by a window and said "This guy won't be in Rush Hour 3" :) The bloopers of Rush Hour 3 are pretty fun too.

Hahaha, yea! That's the exact same scene I was thinking about!

First off, it's VMA, not WMA.

Second, it stands for Video Music Awards.

Third, I have no clue.

You're not talking about the ones on MTV are you? I hate those, they are usually horribly done, or they have so much[Cow Dung] that there is only very few minutes of actual awards.

Ugh, there goes my interest. I don't like rap, reggae, hip hop, pop, indie, music so I'm probably going to hate it! Hahahaha. I think some rap songs should have more restrictions (too much cussing)and talks to much about time in prison, raggae is too gangster for me, hip hop is very annoying to listen to most the time, I hate the majority of pop songs, indie music usually sounds so horrible. (Besides they are usually only passing fancies. AKA. Fad groups)

Sorry for quoting such a relatively older post but I haven't seen the anime but "Colors" by Flow (it's opening) is awesome. I've also heard a lot about the anime itself, apparently it ranks up there with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Death Note for best anime in the past year.

Hahahaha, I wan't to work at Gamecrazy, or EBGames. :( Unfortunately I'm stuck at McDonalds for now. It's incredibly hard to get a job in Springfield/Eugene OR. The minimum wage here is 7.80$ so it doesn't really matter where I work I'll still get decent money. :) Compare that to North Dakota's minimum wage of $5.50 and you'll start to feel extremely rich. Hahahaha! Since this is a social board, I guess it's okay to talk about myself! :D I've been to about half of the states from the central states to the western ones. I grew up a Cali-Boy, but moved to New Mexico for a year. From there we were transfered to North Dakota for another year, then transfered to Oregon. I love North Dakota best, because of the people. They are really polite and nice, well, mostly to your face. However as long as I don't know they're talking about me, I am happy. That's not the same with Oregonians, they're really mean sometimes. They remind me of Californians. Hahahaha! All the drivers here are Californian drivers, meaning they only slow down when they see stop signs, they run you off the road, and go slow in the fast lane. Hahahaha, oh how I've missed Californian drivers. North Dakota drivers were mostly teenie-boppers, and they couldn't drive to save the life of them. They were always in the news on wrecks and stuff. New Mexican drivers, hmmm best avoid this one or else I might sound discriminative. Let's just say they are some CRAAAAAZY drivers!

*Edit: I also forgot to add I've been to Texas many times on shopping trips! I've frequented Nevada too. I've also seen many natural disasters/phenomenon including: Tornado's, Earth Quakes, Wild Fires, Flame Spouts (little whirl winds of fire), water spouts (mini water tornado's), Freezing Rain Storms (rare storms that when it rains the rain instantly freezes on the ground. Extremely dangerous, and I REALLY HATE IT.), Invisible Ice (When the ground freezes and turns into ice, which you cannot see, I've fallen many times on my way to the bus stop.), Dust Storms, blizzards-I've seen a lot of natures fury, just about shy of a volcano eruption. I've been lucky and never had my home blown away by a tornado, or burned by wild fires.

$7.80?! That's a lot. I think the minimum wage where I live is $5.15(or $5.66 after the bill goes through). I think that's minimum for McDonalds though(your pay). Man, that's a lot though(for minimum wage).

Yes minimum wage is going to go up another 20Cents soon too. We have a high minimum wage, but only because things here are pretty expensive. We also have no tax at all in Oregon, so everything is a little more expensive. But if you see a game for $10.99 it really is just $10.99. In California tax's are a little high, so I don't mind paying extra because I actually save some money-sometimes not all the time.

Hahahaha! You're not that old, but I'd rather be old than young really. I was very unhappy at the age of 16 not being able to get a job. I tried EXTREMELY hard to find one too, you could be hired at 15 but most peoplenever hired younger teenagers. I didn't get my first job until I was 17. :( I worked at Orange Julias for about 4 months, I enjoyed it a lot, believe me that was the only thing keeping me there. The money was horrible though, I was happy there though, so thats what kept me there. I got free smoothies, julias's and food. I got discounts all throughout the mall, and mall employee's always got special discounts or offers from the local stores. JCP liked to hand out 20% off additional cards, I always used them too. :) 20% off something already 50% off is 70%-so things were really cheap. I also liked meeting all the familiar faces, I knew most the employee's at JcPenny's because we were right by them. :) I always gave them extra portions, the only thing I hated about my job were the other teenagers. I hate working with teenagers because they bring SOOOOO much drama to work, or they get into your business, and it's very hard to ignore them without annoying the boss. On the other hand many always called off sick which gave me more time to work which made me happy. (I'm a workoholic.)

amen-I had an incredible hard time getting my first job as well

I know the feeling and I hate working with teenagers as well...they just....irritate me. thats why I like my new job. you HAVE to be at least 18 and have your HS diploma or a GED to get in. So most people who get in are a bit more mature...

Hahahaha, I can relate to you Magus. I myself am a teenager, but I don't like to be around other teenagers. I am very mature, and always have been for my age. I am an honor roll student, I like to join student council, book club, I love to help out at school a lot. I am a very motivated person, I HATE, HATE, HATE lazy teenagers at my old job too. They always moaned, and groaned over having to work. I'm like then quit your DARN job already-I'm sick of listening to your whining. For god sakes your job doesn't require much work, or intellegence, even effort really! I don't know why you're bickering, go find a job at McDonalds or something if you hate Orange Julias that much. (Ironically my new job is at McDonalds...*sigh*) A lot of people my age only want to go drink and party-it's okay in moderation I guess but when they do the whole club scene it truly disgusts me.

I can see you are very modest as well :P , my friend you shouldn't take everything so seriously, what other people do as long as it doesn't affect you directly, shouldn't even bother you, i hope you dont take this the wrong way, it's just a small piece of advice.

I do things seriously though. I have to if I am going to suceed in life, I have to finish college. I am actually going to take a placement test for it tomorrow, then about a week later I'm actually starting. The one I'm going to has class sizes of about 25-30 students which is really small so I will stand out. :) That makes me happy! I'd prefer not to go to OSU (Oregon State University) because class sizes get up to over 80 at times I've heard. I've always been anal when it comes to being motivated and getting the best out of life. I'm stubborn as a mule when it comes to that, however I don't let every little thing bug me. :) Don't worry, I'm not going go do something foolish because of the little things in life!

Well-in a sense I was a lazy teenager-I did well in school but I was active in other things-I used to be very active in the martial arts until I had to have some surgery which I will not go into detail about and I also was in boy scouts until I was 18 (and by the way I did make it to my Eagle Scout rank) and right now im working full time and starting school for this fall so I dont consider myself completely lazy, just I didnt care to be involved at my school cause I couldnt stand the focus on the football team and the money spent on the athletics sickened me....when we couldve used more teachers....better computers...etc.

I was treasurer for a year, and we had an EXTREMELY limited budget. I was only able to pull off two field trips, one was a picnic one to a park-we had a pot luck kind of thing too; the other was to a Kindergarden class which was a tradition. We always took a few students and went there to build models out of candy or food. (We built houses, planes, all kinds of stuff.) I didn't actually go to that one though, because I despise children...

Yeah I dont like children either-this is an article that supports my view on children...in a satirical extreme manner-I dont condone the level of discipline this guy suggests but it gets my point across http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=beat

Man I woke up soooo early today. I gotta go to Lane County Community College to take a placement test, then SOAR within the following 4 days. :) I'm so excited! I'm going to ace it of course except I haven't taken a math class in two years. (I finished math my Sophomore year.) I'm only a little worried that I don't remember exactly how to do that rocket Scientist math stuff. I mean really, who can honestly remember it? I won't need it, I'm going to be a Nurse or an EMT. (Emergency Medical Transit)

*Edit: added EMT forgot too. Haha!

Yea I was the same way too. I just didn't really wanna be involved. My school was eh...not the greatest place. Hahahaha. Sometimes I was kinda lazy in my schoolwork too.... but I always managed to get good grades somehow!! Who knows how

Same here. I'm an honor roll student too, and in the TAKS testing(or MATS in Michigan, CATS in California, etc), I was in the 97th percentile for my school district(I beat my friend by 1 spot:lol: ).

I don't like student council at my high school, because it's more of a title than a job. It's like they're controlled by the PTA.

Hmm...is the TAKS like Michigan's MEAP? Where you get money and stuff if you do well? I did well in that too. Although I don't remember what percentile, I guess the only thing that matters is that I got money to cover last fall and this coming semester!

Student Council was like that too at our school. I honestly don't even know if our Student Council did anything worthwhile. Every year it was always the same people and they would do like one thing for the school each year. So pointless.

We don't get cash if we do good:( We just know that we did really good:)

I know my council isn't worthwile. It's just a pointless thing(at my school). All they do is do what the PTA and the Principle tell them to do. They're puppets.

I forgotone of the biggest scandels of my senior year. (The only year I wasn't on student body.) Because the Student Body was part of the school they actually got PAID, however this gave the school a bad reputation. So they had to change the name to Student Committee Leaders. Hahahaha! Even if it was only a few dollars, it will seriously start a wave of scandalism and laundering scams. Not only that people would eventually get greedy, and this could've only gotten worse. Students fighting over for chair seats in our Student Body would only cause harm. Nothing topped school news for a long time until a student died at school in Gym from a heart attack.

*Edit: Grammar issues.
