I'm afraid not, haven't even heard of it. What is it?
It's an anime. It's pretty long to explain, but I'll try to explain it(and I'll give you a link about it and a link to the first episode)
It's about Louge Longbargue(however it's spelled) and, in this time, which it's 2010, Britian got all this military power and controls 1/3 of the world. The countries they take over lose their old name and become an area(example, Japan loses the name Japan and becomes Area 11. Everyone that's a natural of the are are called by whatever the area's number is). Louge gets caught up in a battle between the Britain army in Area 11(japan) and the japanese resistance. He then chooses to fight against Britain.
It's not a good summary, but you have to watch it, it's pretty good.
Here's a link to the info about Code Geass. Geass
Here's a link to the first episode. Episode 1 (the site shows the whole first season. When you see it, it goes by 1-1 and 1-2. They split up the eps, so 1-1 is part 1 of episode 1 and 1-2 is the second part of episode 1).
When you finsih watching 1-1, click on 1-2 to finish episode 1.
Tell me what you think of it:D

Has anyone watched Code Geass?IpodHero176
Up to chapter 23 if i remember correctly, cool anime, i first got interested by the character design by Clamp, but the development of the characters was pretty cool as well, i was quite shocked by one of the main characters secrets, but im not gonna spoil you anything. I recommend it to all of you although it can get pretty bloody sometimes.

You should also watch Death Note(after Code Geass). That's another good anime.
*****THERE IS SPOILERS TO GAMES IN THISPOST********
I'm going to change the topic a little. I was thinking what could be something to discuss that is controversial, yet stimulating without the need of flaming. I have decided to make my off topic about good versus evil.
Has anyone else been truly disgusted at a video game character for doing something that was obviously retarded, or trying to play the hero/heroine? One good example of this would be one of the great misunderstandings of Tales of Phantasia where the main character kills a mysterious alien (the kind from another world) named Dhoas. It is clear from certain parts of the game he is trying to follow his own agenda other than conquer the world, which I don't remember him actually saying. His one and only true goal that he seemed to fail to get across is he's trying to save a mana tree. (Don't remember exactly.) Anyway he is just trying to save his people, yet the people of this planet try to hunt him.
I'm sure some of you have mixed comments when it comes to the war in Iraq. Here is a example of a hero and a villain. America is viewed as a sort of great bully to many Eastern Arabs because we come in occupy their "Holy Land", and are destructive. Many people see Bin Laden (Sp please?) as a hero, however America sees him as a supreme antagonist. Why is this so? Why do people see a murderous terrorist as a hero? Why do we hate him? The reason is simple really when you try to analyze it.
"There is no such thing as absolute evil or good-there is only, power." - Homura the War Prince
It is true, good and evil are only points of view. Man's greatest fear is the unknown. Good is only good if you beleive in the cause, and evil is only evil if they are demonized by propaganda to make you believe they are so. It is so sad that people who are the real hero's die so young. The real hero's are those who are never acknowledged; forgotten in history's pages.
I look forward to your responses.

Interesting. See, I don't agree with the quote "there is no good or evil." I most certainly think that there is good and evil. For example, I don't think it is ever "right" to kill a person, I don't think anyone deserves death unless it is their time to die. Everyone deserves their life.
As far as the war in Iraq is concerned. No, I don't agree with it, and I am really sick of how crappy our economy has become because of it (especially here in Michigan, where no one can find a job.) I could keep talking and say exactly what I think about this topic, but I really don't want to start any controversy and animosity between friends. I think this is a great topic of conversation, but I don't like to talk about politics among friends because someone always ends up upset at someone else. Sorry, but that's just my opinion.:?
*edit: Don't think I am upset! I am not. :) I'd just rather not become involved with this convo.
No. There isn't a character I hate. I might not like Cloud Strife, but I don't hate him. He has some good points.
Queen-> I finished the whole series. i didn't watch the anime, I read all of the manga volumes though.
Oh, I see. I never thought of that. I am someone who likes to discuss politics, because I find a lot of fun in it. I can really deep at times. Anyway I love a good conversation if you're ever looking for a highly intringing communication you know who to go to. :) Andraxal
Haha, OK, I will keep that in mind.
I like to keep myself updated as far as politics and news go, but I just usually don't discuss it with too many people. Since each time I do they either get upset because our view points are so different, or something bad just happens. You never know how people are going to react, you know? This happens with religion too, so I usually avoid the subject with most people unless I'm talking with family or a super close friend or something.

A wise move that i practice as well, now regarding Code Geass, the Clamp group is only the Character designer of the anime.

Ooh, I've heard of it. I think I will watch it once I am done with Code Geass.
Wow, I have a lot of anime to watch now! I want to watch this one called Gankutsuo (I believe.) One of my friends told me about it. The art is really really crazy. Heavy use of textures.
Does any one like the Twelve Kingdoms anime series? Or perhaps Fushigi Yugi? Andraxal
I've seen Twelve Kingdoms, quite enjoyed that. Definatly recommend anime fans.
Speaking of anime, I joined up to a nice community site called myanimelist.net which has a simple, yet nice structure for anime fans to list all their anime they've collected and completed, watched and plan to watch and other options. It's got a nice profile layout and a really nice community board. Anime fans should check it out!
Oh and.. here's my profile A_A LINK

I'm very glad you've seen Twelve Kingdoms. I was beginning to think no one else has. Have you seen all the episodes they published? I have. I really wished they finished it. It was one of the most well done, in depth animes I've EVER seen. It had a great story, and I loved the way they branched off of the main story every now and then. I loved the whole birth through a tree idea. I wish they would hurry up and finish the new series of Twelve Kingdoms that they have started. However it is new, and won't be finished untill another year or two. It is only in manga so far. I'd love for them to go into the other kingdoms they didn't talk about much. There are not a lot of serious animes out there like this one. I love the Ghost in the Shell series as well, have you seen it Mr. Seifer?
