[QUOTE="Cronaroth"]I thought it was a riot....MARIA-FOR HITTING YOURSELF IN THE FACE--YOU ARE REWARDED WITH HIGHER HP!!!latte428

Hmm...

Think of it that way, maybe this should be something in the other games also.

Tidus, for smacking Wakka in the face to shut him up, I award you 51 levels! :D

I would find that rather humorous! :P

Lol! Are we thinking more like terms to open-ended style like Oblivion? :P

*Puches Tidus in the face - gain strength up, disposition with Tidus down :P*
*Takes a 100 steps - gain endurance up :P*
*Negotiates to buy a Phenoix down for 200 instead of 300 - gain mercantile up :P*

Sounds fun eh? ^___^

More games do seem to be going to the system of making it automatic to tailor the characters to how you use them.

See this in a FF game would be very interesting...

A Possible new genre for Square-Enix to have a go at? :P

FF: The Never ending quest!

Actually, that would be awesome if done right. A FF that you could keep playing quests in and building guilds(like Morrowind)!

Yeah!!! OMG! I would die if they did something like that! Just imagine a Morrowind type game in the Final Fantasy world! You could join guilds and go off and do side quests if you wanted! AHA! enough of the one-linear save the world main quest! XD

Although I dont know if I wanna wait the 4-5 years for them to make it :P (aah who am i kidding, of course i would!) XD

I don't think that would work. That would make them concentrate way too much on the gameplay and mechanics of it all rather than the story.

I would not want the story to be sacrificed for the gameplay but it would make leveling much more fun if there were a lot more side quest to do it with rather than running around waiting for something to attack...

In the main series, FFII is my least favourite. I didn't really like the bosses and the levelling up system was kinda crap.

But it's nowhere near as bad as Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest. Thank god it's called Mystic Quest Legend in PAL regions because it's not even a proper Final Fantasy. It's an abomniation of mankind and is one of the worst games i've ever played.

Never found a decent story in the "one that should not be a numbered" FF. :D

It would just be nice to have a lot more side quest options so I could keep playing. I love FFX and like to keep going back but it would be awesome if there was more games/quests to do...

Although I accidentally started it without playing X first, take about one confused gamer at that point! X and X-2 are my fav FF!!

I can't separate FFX and FFX-2, they are just one great game to me. FF7 and 8 are right after although, I may have to change that since IX is really capturing my attention...

FF2 or FF1 are my least fav games. 2 is my least fav of the 2...

Oh yeah!! I completly forgot about Final Fantasy Mystic Quest! Omgosh that game was quite terrible and you know for those who played it how it could have affiliated itself in the Final Fantasy Title.

Funny thing was though, i actually managed to play through it all till the end! Funny how the last boss was the easiest if you used the healing cheat! Anybody who hasn't played that.. clearly don't, it's best if you never see that game... EVER.

Totally, it was very obvious by its extremely easy standard. I suppose I didn't mind it too much considering I actually finished the game didn't I? I did played this after FFIV and FFVI though, so you can say my standard dropped quite a bit!

I did never finish FFV and FFIX, can I actually say I enjoyed Mystic quest more than both of those? :P

why is it annoying? license points are really easy to get! all you need to do is LP farm on wolves, and you can get about 200-400 lp an hour

well what i was saying is that is not balance... and the fact that you always have a choice of tree upgrade that are not balanced at all... and having to farm only only so you can use a white magic ability and then have to farm again so you can se the specific spell, then you farm to buy the magic skil anyway i found it way better in other FF exept for FFVIII (the draw the magic you need thing was really a disaster....good thing i loved the story line)

I agree with you that I didn't like FFXII License point system, but I didn't like it because I felt everyone would become a clone of each other.

I really agree with that. All of my characters were clones of each other. Other than which weapon I chose for them they all had identical skills and such.

I also agree.

Maybe if you didn't level the character much, they could be unique. Eventually, all the license boards looked the same after the character became more powerful. The system was ok but the boards for each character should have been made a lot different from each other.

although if you maxed everyones spjhere grids in ffx they were all clones, but at least they had specific overdrives

its ok for you to steal and kill whoever or whatever you like, and destroy a mighty empire, but you still need a license to wear a specific hat

I always go ticked that I could use a short sword but the character just couldn't use a bigger sword without a license... What on earth was so different that suddenly you cloudn't use a bigger sword?????

now see that would cause anarchy in the world, as well as put weapons in the hands of "enemies of the state". then they would need to create the ideals of yevon and keep everyone from technological advances, unless of course you happen to be in cities named either esthar or midgar. Or happen to be training in such schools as balamb garden............ but whos keeping track ?? o__O
